Title: CoinLearn.org is under malicious attack [Fixed]
Post by: CoinLearn on February 19, 2014, 03:01:39 PM
Recently while checking the database for the pending payout we have seen a number of earnings that are impossible to be true. A little investigation has revealed that SQL injection has taken place. We immediately suspended our earning module and posted it on our twitter account.

https://twitter.com/CoinEarn/status/435823320005505024

We tried to post the same in this forum as well, but was getting an error "SMF is unable to connect database" !!!

Please be assured that all of your honest pending earnings will be disbursed by February 23, 2014 as promised. None of the dishonest earnings will be paid off and at this time we are sorting out that part. A few sample of dishonest earnings through SQL injection are as follows...

1. 9971090010 Satoshi in 97560 Second

2. 1000039020 Satoshi in 98280 Second

3. 100050000 Satoshi in 13560 Second

As soon as we can sort out this problem, we will resume our operation.

Extremely SORRY for any inconvenience caused.

Update 1: A little delay - https://twitter.com/CoinEarn/status/437935257451364352

Update 2: Everything back to normalcy - https://twitter.com/CoinEarn/status/439460131399401472

Scammers?

Not mitigating SQL injections in 2014 is like driving a car without a seatbelt at 100 miles an hour on the wrong side of the road.

Its an accident waiting to happen.

yeah, it's nice the site is up again :)
altough I don't know what the hackers were thinking, one can't simply not notice a 1 000 000 Satoshi payout :D

how much is the minimum earning for me to be able to cash it out?
