We are a group of students in MIT. We are not going to post our username in public recently because we need a serene university life. Don't worry about our coding skill.



✎How To Join

    We are looking for active participants that can help XGC and spreading this news to those who wants to have a bridge between different generation coins.

    The whole XGC team endeavors to help people to get familiar with the 2nd generation coins but not to cheat users out of money.

    The fundraising is absolutely fair. All the X-Tokens and 5% of XGC will being distributed to all the investors equally. For instance, if (N) users join our IPO, each of them will get (200000000/N) XGC and (4000000/N) X-Tokens.

    If you do not have a Bitcointalk account yet, you need to create one AND BE ACTIVE to study what are the differences between 2 generations of cryptocurrencies. Do not lose the account password, because you will need to access the account later to claim your share.

※ To avoid newbie account spamming, you need to exceed 15 posts when IPO stops. You can reply first and be active to raise your post count.


    In the first 20 posts, stake spots are reserved only by showing "interest". MOD NOTE: This isn't allowed, have people show their interest to you in some other way. People who join after them will still be distributed an equal share of  but have to pay a fee of 300 NXT or 0.03 BTC to join in, this fee will never increase in the future.

    After we reach a critical mass, we will launch the XGC genesis block. The maximum number of the investors is 3000.

    One Bitcointalk account can only have one stake spot. If you send more than the required amount at one time or multiple times, or your post count is below 15, we will consider your transaction a donation to XGC.

██ About XGC and Tokens:

    In the first 5 years after launching, you have to use XTK (X-Token) with your CPU miners to mine XGC. The basic idea is that your true mining speed is decided by both your machines (CPU only) and XTK amount. The more both of them you have, the faster your mining speed you will have. If both A and B have the same CPU but A has 10 Tokens in addition, then A will get a little faster hashrate count than B.

——Forging
XGC can not only be mined out (1st generation) but can obtain by forging just like NXT (2nd generation).

    5 years after the launch, minable coins won't be available anymore. The X-Tokens will be useless. However, PoS function will keep working and then XGC will become a 100% PoS coin finally which means you can only get coins by using confirmed coins in the wallet to "forge" or buy from platform.

    The forging reward comes from transaction fees. To keep this function run stable, we will spread a random amount between 1 to 5 of XGC as fee every minute from 14% of total XGC scatter in the XGC network.

    We have also optimize the forging algorithm in order to prevent all fees being forged by the wallets which have large amount of coins stored in.

    By the way, functional addresses (which keep spreading fees) will not forge itself. Means those 14% of coins won't affect the forging system at all.



██ Decentralized Trading Platform

We have created a special decentralized trading system which can apply to ANY trade.

See an example directly:

Seller wants to sell iPhone for 1000XGC and Buyer wanna buy it.
↓Here are the trading steps↓

1) Seller have to send 1000 XGC into a trading system address which manage by XGC system (every one can create different addresses) to get a "SellerKey".
2)  Buyer have to send 2000 XGC (Price*2) into the same address to obtain "BuyerKey".
3) Seller send SellerKey with iPhone to Buyer's home.
4) After Buyer make sure the stock send to his home is an good iPhone, he needs tell tell Seller the "BuyerKey".
5) When Seller input BuyerKey and Buyer input SellerKey into their wallet, the transaction will be executed. (1000 XGC back to Buyer, and Seller not only get his 1000 XGC back but also get 1000 XGC from Buyer)


※ If Buyer input BuyerKey and Seller input SellerKey, trade cancelled.
※ If one or both of traders haven't finish writing back key after deadline, the money in that trading account will all spread into the network as fees for users to forge.
※ If one start an ask or bid in market but nobody fill that order after deadline, the money will send back to original account.
