Mungkin Administrator atau theymos disini memberikan apreasiasi untuk beberapa orang tersebut dengan memberikan tanda/simbol dibawah username agar membedakan dengan members lainya dan mungkin agar members lainya mengetahui bahwa mereka yang diberikan tanda/simbol telah memberikan kontribusi nya untuk forum dan khususnya untuk terciptanya, perkembangan dari Bitcoin.
Yang saya maksud tanda/symbol adalah Badges, berikut release dari theymos: I added a system of badges to SMF a while ago, though only two are defined now. Here are the current badges:
A core dev does not "outrank" a bitcoin expert (or vice-versa), and it's possible for someone without a badge to contribute meaningfully to a discussion with experts and core devs. Untuk mendapatkan Badges ini jauh dan sangat sulit sekali, lebih sulit dari mendapatkan Merit, Trust dan menjadi member Default Trust . Di indonesia saja dari mulai adanya thread local sampai saat ini yang masuk members Indonesia sebagai Default Trust (DT) hanya satu orang yaitu sapta (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=347141). Bagi ane, lebih berharga dapet badges ketimbang title :D
Btw, ane baru sadar moderator sapta ternyata BitRentX satu-satunya Default Trust di Indonesia. Semoga kedepannya bisa dapat badges juga.
