Not quite sure why you need to extra memory, this 6870 should work just as good -> http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150561

And it's $165 after the rebate. Imho, they probably start clearing these things out soon, and it'll be the time to buy when they get around the $130 range.

use the same doe to pick up a used 5870

6870s get about the same Mh/s as 5830s with a little less power usage. At $130, your Mh/$$$ ratio is pretty darn low.

5850 seems like the better balanced deal if you're into mining/gaming.
It runs pretty much any game at full speed and offers pretty good hashrate, usually in the high 300s.
