Title: Selling Xbox One's, CHEAP
Post by: BasedForLife on February 20, 2014, 12:05:04 AM
Selling Xbox One's for $100.

These Xbox's only come with the console. No power brick/accessories, only the console.

These are not carded, or SE'd (social engineered)

You will not get billed.

They ship directly from microsoft, and they include tracking.

Willing to use escrow.

PM me for more info.

how is this NOT SE'd? I've done my fair share of social engineering, and this is exactly how microsoft sends out their replacement xbox ones. I'd buy with caution, and if you do decide to buy, to use a drop house in case of billing.

Social engineering is when you talk to a person, and persuade them to give you there product for free. I do not talk to any customer support, this is through Advanced Replacement, therefor it's not se'd, but ar'd. And there's 0% chance of billing. People have gotten there xbox's and have had them for over a month, and no bill has came. But if you want, use a drop.

Scary? What's so scary about it? Many people have bought these already, with no problem. Not off this forum, but off another forum that I use.

Wait, who said they weren't replacement xbox's???? How about you read all the replies, and maybe your judgmental ass would learn. The method I use does not involve carding, nor se'ing.

Yes. The OP is using an exploit in the Microsoft return system. For $100 he will scam Microsoft and have them ship the scammed console to your front door.

The OP is everything that's wrong not only in the bitcoin business but the world. Honesty is a virtue and the OP has none.  It's never ok to steal.

No, it's nothing like that.

after asking him which escrow we'd use, and for details about his past transactions that he mentions early on in this post with users on another forum, he stopped responding. Stay very far away.

microsoft will brick the xbox (remove the ability to play online) after they realize that they're not gonna get paid.

That's a blatant lie.

Taken from another thread about these fraudulent Xbox's.

"Advanced exchange: Microsoft will ship a replacement product to you first, and then you'll send back your non-working item. There are a few important things to note about advanced exchange:

You must provide credit card details for an advanced exchange. A hold will be placed on your credit card for the price of an Xbox One console or Kinect sensor.
You're responsible for sending the non-working product in within 14 days after receiving the replacement product to avoid having your credit card charged."

The trick is Microsoft don't put a hold for the full cost of a console on your card, they just do a check. So people use a pre paid visa or vcc with £1 on to do this and the serial numbers to set up a repair can easily be found or given to you if you ask a seller on eBay etc.

When Microsoft clicks on they're not receiving the broken xbox that doesn't exist back they will try charging the card which obviously won't work where it only ever had a pound on it and the only trace is the delivery address which conveniently is the buyers and not the seller.

With the use of Bitcoin as the payment method and not accepting PayPal etc (there is nothing identifying the seller), but there's nothing stopping Microsoft chasing it up or bricking your console down the line or worst case scenario the seller using stolen credit cards to pass the security checks (Microsoft are meant to be clamping down on pre paid cards) which would result in more than a bricked console for whoever buys one.

TL/DR - It is fraud and the only person who has anything to lose is the buyer. Seller is safe since Microsoft won't have any of his information, only yours. (Because Microsoft will ship straight to you.)

Extra emphasis added....

Don't risk your time, money or even possibly your freedom on this scam.

if only people would put all this ingenuity into something more productive, we'd all be much better off.
