How new and what do you want to learn?

We have a crypto currency site (https://www.cryptogamblingsites.com/) geared towards
1. Newbies in crypto and
2. Online gambling sites (mostly avoiding the scams)

If your post is just about the forums, maybe the best advice is to only post and follow the areas you are keen on and avoid all the arguments :)

Welcome to the forum.

This place holds a wealth of information, it just takes a lot of searching to find the
valuable stuff in between the crap.

Best place to start is the Beginners and Help board > https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=39.0

Please dont fall into the usual trait of asking when bitcoin is going to go up or down
or deliver your lambo.

Jf you are 'investing' do so with only what you are prepared to loose. Try not to fall for
scams and read how you can progress to the various member levels. . .

Oh yea, and enjoy!

Start by learning centralized and decentralized. If you find yourself open to blockchain projects which you will also learn here in the forum I guess then you won't be asking where to start. But let me give you a hint. Meet someone with bitcoin from localbitcoin and buy some. Having some bitcoin in your wallet won't stop you from doing other things later.

Start by reading some rules and important things to know about cryptocurrency here in forum. Gain knowledge while reading and use it to start earning in cryptocurrency. Instead of asking the same questions that others already asked try to do research by your own and find some helpful tips on how to become successful in the field of cryptocurrency.

The first thing that newbies need to do is love this field therefore all of the things that connected to it are become important to us. In literally speaking, love this system so we can have much long patience and hard work to do anything just for the sake of having and gathering a full knowledge about it so if that happen we can easily adapt and understand what will are the system is and at the same time we learned.

I think the first thing you do is to learn about Bitcoin, how to invest it, reputable flooring, the risks you can face, how to avoid it, and so on. Small investment at the start

Got it! How much investment would you recommend to start with?

I would honestly advice you to read literature ( which is not that much) or look at web articles and Youtube clips on Bitcoins and cryptocurrencies. Especially focus on the paper on Bitcoins by Satoshi Nakamoto! And if you are into investing and trading on cryptos look at some prominent book on those subject before diving into become a millionaire in a fortnight! Many people invest in cryptos assuming that they can be super rich in a very hours, which has happened of course but not always true, so always get educated before jumping into a field like cryptocurrencies. All the best.

Let me tell you the most overused phrase on bitcointalk. "Invest what you can afford to lose" and don't buy Bitcoin only because cryptocurrencies are gaining more and more public attention. You should study the topic thoroughly and decide on your own whether or not it is worth your time, effort and money. Take your time to learn about the ways of securing coins. You don't want to lose your money because of web wallet which doesn't give you control of private keys.

That's why the top part of the site is all crypto currency focused...without any "pitch" to buy altcoins or invest in ICO's...

We might need to arrange it better to make it more clear...

The bottom part of the site is all the "gambling" site info and to be fair it's all gambling in crypto so be careful!

Welcome to the club of freedom. I would advise you read articles about bitcoin in bitcoin sites, subscribe to some bitcoin analyst on Youtube and register on Reddit and write articles too. You should start by buying a very little fraction of bitcoin, you can buy from LUNO.com, you can get a bitcoin wallet from blockchain.info. Read info about bitcoin on bitcoin section here.

Start learning all about crypto and ALT coins, how its work, how to invest, when to invest, where to invest, which coin do you have in mind, all other information should be consider, beware of the Bounty scam, if all this indicators had been review and learned, then start on small investment, with your extra money and can afford to loss if  you failed for such investment. Be Patient Learn More.

As a beginner, I would advise you not to rush your knowledge and take one step at a time. Read a lot on the  bitcoin discusion, altcoin discussion and economic discussion  since these are the folders that count most when you start to participate signature bounty after you had achieve the 30 activity of your post.  Be mindful that you need to be on topic and not off topic since your post will be deleted and see to it that it should be a constructive post.

Yeah, we try to start with the basics of "what is bitcoin" (https://www.cryptogamblingsites.com/bitcoin/) without all the FOMO most sites claim EVERYONE needs to buy Bitcoin. Some people really don't have a need for it now and there's no problem with standing on the sidelines, seeing if Bitcoin stores value like it's intended. If bitcoin isn't going anywhere, people can always "get in" a couple years from now.

First go to youtube and watch some videos of Andreas Antonopoulos. Get them all into a playlist and watch them. THis will give you some basic understanding of the topic.
Next you should get a wallet. Bitcoin core or Electrum are the best. Get into an exchange like Coinbase and buy some Bitcoins. You can just buy $100 in Bitcoin or even less if you want. Get some and learn how to send and receive, how to use qr codes, how to set fees and so on. These are the basics.

If you are newbie to the forum the best thing to do is read up the forum beginners help and get use to couple of dos and donts in the forum, the advantage of that is that it can help you find the right info when you need them, and also help you focus your time to things that are more important in the forum while ignoring the irrelevant matters

Being a newbie is very greasy and exciting feeling and you will feel very new to this place but you have to learn a lot before investing into these crypto as when I was a newbie I have been told few things that I still remember and the foremost thing is that these crypto currencies are very volatile in nature and thus their valuation keeps on flactuation but you have to invest very wisely that when to buy and sell your coin and obviously you can take your decision emotionally as emotion can hinder your path to success.

Cryptocurrency market shows a small recovery and it shows that bear market has temporary ended. I think this might be a good start for the crypto market in gaining it's momentum to a much further increase in the coming weeks. Investors are now at least slightly comfortable with the situation we're in now.
