Ethereum is currently popular, a lot of people are transacting using Ethereum rather than Bitcoin, but why is the Ethereum price never high?

Actually its already high right?. It just that it cant overtake bitcoin.. because bitcoin is the widely known crypto..

it is all in your head. nobody uses ethereum ever.
the only usage is when people buy it as a token to gamble in ICO and lose most of the times. and since these days ICO is dying ethereum price is also dying with it.

merchants that started to accept Ethereum as a payment option and some online gambling sites.  ::)  Vitalik must find some

other use case for Ethereum or it will die soon.  ;D

There's a new chinese exchange with lots of volume on it for the last 24 hours.
It's very unusual for ETH to have more volume than BTC.
Price might go up soon.

actually the price of ethereum is now quite high, if we go back to 2016 1 eth is only worth 15 $ and every year quite up significantly

I feel the current slow rise of ethereum is linked to the too many tokens currently hosted by it. But then again shouldn't this make ethereum more popular since everyone must buy ethereum to buy into these new icos? Many question, few answers.

If you compared to bitcoin, yes the price is not so high.  I think Etherum need more time to reach the price of bitcoin.

Ethereum's supply is not finite it is not a coin like bitcoin and those shit tokens and ICOs you see in the market always dump eth, it is a coin that is dumped always.

It has reached 1300$ is the highest price. But it was only made three years ago. In the past its price was around 30$. It has risen 50 times. That's a high number. And the total supply of ETH is more than that of bitcoin. Thus, the price of ETH can not be higher than Bitcoin

indeed many people who use ethereum are banned using bitcoin, some people use ETH to buy altcoin when doing ICO. while some people withhold bitcoin for investment. its price will follow the bitcoin in the future

currently the gas fees is high and most of the tokens are turning to a scam projects and that makes people not to used ethereum like bitcoin.  Ethereum is currently losing against bitcoin in a very high value and I think the best way to make it from this market is coins flipping.

Eth's pause is a normal event because it has not fixed after the dip aso give some time to Eth for restoring and it will make you rich person at all.

IMO now price of every crypto coin has a big part of hype and popularity, if people will start buying more ethereum, it's price will go up rapidly. we have already seen it a year ago.

Ethereum is not like bitcoin at all. Ethereum is used in a circular economy and the people use it to invest in ICOs and not to keep it on hold for ever like the bitcoiners.

What are you saying dude. Just look at the market capitalization. Ethereum is in top 2 and that its price is quite expensive compared to other coins. If you compare the price of Bitcoin to Ethereum, it would seemed that Ethereum's price but its because Bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency ever created and use and that it has been around more than Ethereum. Also Bitcoin's supply is limited compared to Ethereum. Don't look at the price, look at the market capitalization.

Ethereum is doing well for the past months and so far there are lots of projects that uses ethereum and this is a good sign that this coin has big potential in having bigger profit. Thoughbit is not as high as bitcoin in terms of market value, it is still higher compared to other altcoins

Actualy ethereum now is not going high,because its been affected from the price drops down,due to consecutive adjustment in the market prices value,maybe we know thats this ethereum coins is much popular now ,because its only coins thats contains an ERC20,but due to struggle in crypto worlds,ethereum would been affected.

Market is bearish for every coin but when it will turn to bullish the good coins will rise better than others and I think that eth is one of them so I’m holding my eth with hope ;)

Ethereum price is still pump and dump but not very rapid.Ethereum does offer many interesting features, most notably smart contracts and ability to build upon its technology, which is why it’s still firmly sitting in the top 5 cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin however is well established as value holder and it will be long before it loses that role.

It's hard to overcome bitcoin even for Ethereum primarily because of BTC popularity. Bitcoin appeared as a first cryptocurrency which experienced such spectacular price rising. People trust this coin for this fine experience.

I think the price of Ethereum is where it should be. The price now on all coins is very low. But if you compare bitcoin and Ethereum, they both fell strongly.

It looks like Ethereum has to defend from several powers threatening it at the same time. One is EOS, which is craving for taking Ether's place and for that reason its creators are getting rid of their ETH massively. Second is indignation of the mining community due to the shift to POS. And the third one is a scalability problem which becomes visible when some DAPP explodes.

Because most of the ICOS use Etherium tu invest and they need money for their project and for marketing. Eventually Etherium will rise again especially because the price is crazy cheap right now and its perfect time to invest

although as we all know that ethereum besides lots of people doing transactions with these coins, ethereum has excellent potential for long-term investment because with projects that use intelligent contract technology that is widely used by the ICO platform today but from an unlimited amount of supply that's what makes ethereum prices difficult to increase significantly but will be able to make the price stable enough in the market.

On point, and currently ethereum is dumping along with bitcoin. If this technology continues to use as a way to invest in ICO's I think this will not survive in the competition. ETH must really improve its technology, so many competition with this coin I still hope the price will start to go back on top again.

to me i think ethereum has to be advance network and in technological aspect, other things holding ethereum not growing is that most people or earlier investor are selling out what they have so no one to buy in the market moreover people running from ether bitcoin.
