Title: Learning Day Trading
Post by: AnswerSeeker on July 28, 2018, 03:17:35 PM
Recently I asked about day trading tips on this forum and got really nice response. Some one introduced me to Voodoo day trading community where I found perfect atmosphere to learn day trading and technical analysis:  https://discord.gg/yBmNzRm I have spent last whole week in the free channel in the group and learnt some interesting tricks and earned a decent amount of money.

But it feels like to reach the next level, I have to join paid channel. I wanted to ask that is it worth to pay for learning day trading or I could found free stuff instead? This forum has been a great help to me in past. I hope I will get some valuable feedback this time too.

I think you should buy a book because there are a lot of books on day trading techniques.
You can learn about Japanese candle charts, which is an ancient technique, but very effective.

Look, you already made some profit and that is the first and last step of it if you aint that greedy.
Going in what you are saying paid channel could risk it all.

Here are the events that could happen once you are inside that.
1. They will push you to HODL and wait for the pump to come in which could never happen.
2. They will be telling you to invest in one token which could be manipulation since they are also invested with it. Once you make a pump by buying it then they will be the ones selling.

Better let it be. If you want more profit then go with high amounts.

You already confirmed that you are cool and making profit with the link someone gave you, why don't you grow steadily with that rather than looking for something you might not eventually see? Or ain't you making profit as you claimed?

If you are sure you are making profit but you want bigger profit, then you increase your appetite for risk. You take more investment risk ::) Off course, nothing good comes without fighting for it most times.

You have already testified of your profit with this group on their free training. I suggest you can develop yourself with what you have learned. That's the best way to learn day trading, study the market compare it with what you have learnt, correct your mistakes and learn from it. Hope this happy.

Thank you for your suggestion. They give TA for 3-4 top volume coins on Binance like Tron, ADA, QKC etc. It is impossible to pump these coins by small number of day traders

Day trading is good, you can get money quickly, and in my opinion cryptocurrency is dangerous. Long-term investments may lose all money. Buy more potential coins with the money you get from daily trading. Day trading is a good strategy.

I believe that day trading is too dangerous. And it's better to pay attention to the trade in the distance. If you certainly can not manipulate the market. Either you need to be lucky.

Your decision really matter most on this buddy, you may decide to pay for the day trading if you feel it’s good for you to learn but if you feel it doesn’t worth paying for, then you stay away from that.

In my opinion I don't think it's worth it. You have already learnt many tricks and you have earned descent amount too. I say the best thing to do is, Invest more and wait for the perfect time and strike the sell button at the right time. Do this everyday, basically its all upon you. If you try, you won't lose anything you'll just gain knowledge.

Actually, I am not very familiar with voodoo site so I cannot say much about that. Let me talk about Day trading. DAy trading seems very interesting but has some factors to consider. You have a large amount of probability of capital loss there as 80% of people are losing capital per day. You may be psychologically addicted to it which might make you rush like narcotics. Many false information sources may lead to losing. These are things you may always consider. And learn more, study more, gather knowledge to be a gainer.

Even if you joined paid channel it wont assure you that all the trading tips are consistent and reliable theres no 100% assurance of gaining from the tips.

I think youre broght enough to learn from your own cost, make good researches make your self knowledgeable in all the aspects of the market from basics to expert moves then from that you wont be needed those channels that is not really helpful

Having all bad examples of non successful bounties, and just spending my life on it, I am thinking more to start trading as well because there you are not always depending on the price level just on the differences between it.

I would suggest you to learn day trading yourself. The crypto market sometimes don't follow technical and fundamental analysis. Since you have already gained profits by trading yourself, you should take more time to join pad channels and learn more about trading yourself. This way you can really minimize you losses and dependence on channels. The market is too volatile right now to predict anything accurately.

If it's true that you've earned a decent amount of money through the use of their tricks, then, being in your place, I would definitely join their paid channel, paying for it from the earned money. But, on the other hand, if you already know how to trade with profit, maybe you don't need to waste your time and money on further learning. Also, keep in mind that it's possible that you were just lucky and that their tricks don't always work.

Day trading is quite a difficult thing. You can read different books on technical analysis and the art of trading, but the risks are still very high. I would advise working long term to reduce these risks. The market is more predictable for a long time.

Day trading is good, but it is also dangerous at such a starting stage. It is good that you earned good profit by free learning sites that’s cool. If you want more profit then move steadily & invest slowly as if you have earned it can even slip from your palms, as market is volatile. Always do long term investments for good profits.

That will be a personal choice to make. I think with paid subscription, they'll be linking you to gokd coins where you can earn enough from day trading (but dk well to check to make sure they're legit so that they don't scam you). I haven't used that platform before and so I don't know whether they're truthful or not. By the way, day trading is one of the benefits to get acquainted with in this times of poor crypto market performance.

It's not worth paying those paid channels for signals. You can learn on your own with these technical analyses or by following someone legit that gives his TA on a channel.

It can be on telegram, twitter, facebook or youtube.

I don't buy these paid channels because they are only giving some tips which isn't really exclusive because everyone can learn the basics and as well as the next level of trading.

Because you make money, you want to invest in a bigger trading circle. This is your right, but I hope that you think about it.
In my opinion, daily trading is the most dangerous. The money you earned during the last period is likely to be lost today. Be careful.

Nope, it isn't. If you are just joining paid channels then you're not doing it for yourself, you should make your own way on how to make profit when it comes into trading. Always remember that your experience will always be your best knowledge.

Day trading is the one that needs to be learned from expertise people's experience. There are people who have suggested strategies to make a better earning through day trading. People fail while experimenting at the early days. Should not give up, one who has got funds to loss at the beginning learns and earn big further.

Profit is what we expect in trading and try to learn this before jump into it is the most important thing to do so dont ever try to kill yourselves by jumping into trading without proper knowledge. After that, about big profit or small then you can manage your capital. More capital is more profit.

Daily learning is welcome, but you can find out that short-term trading is not as good as long-term trading, not to mention you can save a lot of time. .
Also about paid channels, I advise you not to join, most are phishing

The thing is that it depends on you. If you feel that you have learnt enough to start trading on your own then you should start trading, but only trade in small amounts and learn as you go. Experience is the best teacher, there are some good paid channels if you are willing to join but just make sure they are legit before paying so you don't end up getting scammed.

I agree with you bro, day-trading is a lot riskier for newbie because sometimes they just hype because they so other people earn huge profit margin in cryptocurrency market. I would rather to recommend long-term investment/holing coins in order for them to familiarize themeselves on how the cryptocurrency market works.

I don't even want to learn how to trade cryptocurrencies in short-term periods. This is not my way of earning money really. Cryptocurrencies are like unpredictable financial assets and I don't know if they rise or fall tomorrow.

I’ve been doing this a few years and can give you some pro tips. Main one being day trading should only happen when you see a coin that is normally high( ex eth) at a low amount 100 or more under early in the morning. Then you snag some and wait out the day. (If the crypto gods are smiling on you I️t will go up enough to snag a nice profit after fees) if not hodl or if it’s high enough to get out after fees with no loss do that and just sit until tomorrow. 48 hr-1week+ trading is much more ideal in my world but you do you. Best way is to buy ETH on coin base and then transfer to binance to buy your coins for the day. If u need help or have questions feel free to PM me. I’d be willing to help you out for free at first if u want to learn the basics. Can’t promise you will make any cash (I’ve only gone in the red these past few days) but with time you can make some nice profits odds slowing.

There are stuffs that are taught on paid channels and not available on free channels (this is what they usually say to promote the paid one). That is entirely up to you if you are willing to pay the price, you might really gain something. It's not that you will not learn them from the free channels and from personal experience, paid channels might help you learn faster.

In short, toddler trades tend to look at charts with low time frames, leaving the general view, asymptotic, that the big time frames bring.

When you are ready to go for trading processes, better to look at the long frame and understand the situation of your specific tokens or coins.

It's easier to look at long-term trends to judge trends, downtrends / uptrends, important resistance levels, support.

But still, you cannot predict the movement of crypto currency, likewise the down fall. It's always a chain reaction when bitcoin is at the down moment.

Over all, educate your self first by reading a lot of thing here in bitcointalk.org.

Good luck to your journey folks!

Well, don't go if you are not ready. Just play or trade safe and learn new things from the experience of those high ranks here in alternative coins section. Always remember, there's a lot of greedy bitcoin user here on this website that is always active to do a shady moves. You can avoid them if you knew how they set some traps.

If you are very interested in day trading, then I think this is a good choice. During the day trading, no matter whether the market is in a bear market or a bull market, you can get profits from it. Only you have enough understanding of this market and have accurate judgment. Then you can make a lot of money every day.

I haven't join any paid channel for trading, but if you find good reviews about that channel, then maybe it is worth to try.
You may ask them if they have a trial program for new member or not. I think you can learn about trading in trading section in this forum too.

if i was in your current position i might just join the paid channel directly.
but if it is rethought again, it would be better if you learn by yourself instead of throwing your money just for tricks that i think you can get yourself without spending a penny.  :)

because i think all that is in the crypto, tricks and even a good strategy can not guarantee 100% will always succeed in the future. we will also need a little luck to get more profit.

3. This pump and dump groups are actually using us to pump and dump a coin making profit.

Day trading is a great business, it deals with profit making in a short period of time. It may be risky sometimes when the market is not favorable for day trading, you need be vigilant and keep track on the market prices and price chart as it is going through for you to make decisions

so one can be a personal preference to make. I suppose with paid subscription, they'll be linking you to gokd coins in which you may earn sufficient from day buying and selling (but dk well to check to make sure they're legit in order that they do not rip-off you). i haven't used that platform before and so I don't know whether they're sincere or no longer. through the way, day buying and selling is one of the benefits to get familiar with in this times of bad crypto marketplace performance.

in doing day trading it requires a good analysis, we must be able to determine the right time to sell or buy the crypto. so the risk of getting a loss will be small, it will be better. besides that, we must be able to manage our crypto well. stay focused and be careful is the most important.

It is one of the things that has actually driven a lot of people into trading anyway but that knowledge and some experience is highly needed. I would not consider anyone to day trade if they have enough bucks on them. That is a tough one to achieve. However, for the likes of positioning and swing trading, this is a pattern that can easily be done on longer time frame, using even only MAs to achieve, but like I said, it requires a lot of discipline when it comes to trading.

Yeah, so far, day trading is very worthy to conduct if we really know the ways. Learning how to be a great day-trader that will give the promising rewards or profits. I myself still learn about the simple and worthy ways. However, day-trading will spent many more times to check the market regularly. I never heard about that channel, thanks for the info.

it depends, but for me, I think, there is no need for you to pay for learning day trading, because the only thing you need is understanding. if you can understand everything that some expert say to you, or some sort of advice about day trading, you will be able to reach the next level you wanted.

Same here.
The more I got curious about day trading, the more I learned and the more I am eager to know about paid channels. I'm also planning to join one of those.

Anyway, Day trading will give us more profits if we just know how to read indicators and how to read the market charts. However, it isn't always a win-win scenario. I, sometimes experienced more losses than wins. Thus, that experienced will make us to search more about the paid channels to at least regain the losses or to benefit again.

Day trading is really very difficult and requires a big concentration and patience. First of all you have to identify what kind of technical analysis do you want to learn. For example I like to learn about techniques which can help to calculate days of trend reversal and levels of resistance and support, like techniques of William Gann, Bradley Cowan. Someone is based on classical prediction - Elliot waves, someone on the mathematical model - nonlinear fractal analysis, but there are those who trade on the indicators. So you have to get new knowledges every day. Be ready to learn and work hard.

There is no point HODLing when we are sure that price is going to fall.
Then what should we do if prices will fall further, even though we also know that if we sell the altcoin at that time we will experience a loss, isn't it stupid if we decide to sell?

Less listen to tips paid channels. There are books, there are trial shadows, there is an experience that you will earn. Let me remind you one of the rules of trading: "Trading is a game." A popular and dangerous delusion. The basis for successful trading is first and foremost hard work and self-discipline.
This is the ability to say no to temptation. If you treat trading as a gamble, end up as a loodoman in a casino. Forget the word "play on the stock exchange". You work at the stock exchange.

Do not take the advice of experienced traders as "indestructible truth", it is not.
Perceive advice not as a guide to action, but as an excuse to draw attention to an interesting asset. Remember, deep intelligence and common sense will bring you great benefits. Any information should be checked.

I think you already know how to build up your own trading strategies. So trying them won't be bad from my point of view. But if you want you can go for the paid course. Best of luck.

I think I will prefer the paid course because trading is really vast and no knowledge is a waste.

Actually you will always find some free useful stuff on the internet one way or another. But I guess it will also be good if you join the paid channel, you get to learn some professional, real deals to trade with. So, both are good actually, it depends on what you actually want now.

Some paid channels only deal on predictions. Most of them are fake and dnt even know the basics. Better I go for paid training and acquire the knowledge for long term use.

You are absolutely correct. Those paid channels only wax when they see green. When the market is red, their predictions is always zero.
