Title: Can these be on any use in mining?
Post by: S4VV4S on February 20, 2014, 10:20:55 AM
Hi guys,

I have been following adapteva's project since they started their fundraising campaing on kickstarter.

Apparently their paralella boards and their epiphany chips are quite good.

So can these 28nm chips mine anything at all?

OK, that's what I thought.

If they could be used they would have by now isn't it?  ::)

They could be used instead of a Raspberry PI though right?

So they are not completely useless to mining  ;D

not completely.
But how many of them you might need to build a rig? :)

No I meant the paralella board instead of a Raspberry PI to control your miners.

That should be possible since their are both Linux based, right?

Ah yes :) to control miners - indeed.

So there is some way to use them for mining ;) true..
