Oh, mates! LTC is performing worse every week and has a loss (!) of almost 80% if we look at ATH in 12/2017. It is definitely not roses time of LTC but question after all now is if LTC has still a future...
If someone compare it to BTC, ETH, BCH or EOS LTC is performing bad at most distance!! I hope we will see a recovery but do you see it too?

My question, mates: Is Litecoin still an option and has a future or will we see no comeback?

LTC is the silver, BTC is the gold. So yes, it's still worth investing regardless of what anyone else says. I'll choose it over Btrash at any given time as well.

Out of the major ones, LTC seems to have better prospects than the others. Of course, BTC will always be the king because of its decentralized nature and strength to withstand attempts for takeover or hacks, but there are a few other alternatives available too.

Ripple seemed like a good option because there were a few whispers of endorsements but that obviously didn't go over too well. They've also got a centralized coin that they can manipulate prices with quite easily. Same for Bitcoin Cash, which is why they forked. And ETH, I'm starting to lose faith in as well for similar reasons. So it's a matter of choosing one that you think won't be messed with by the owners.

I believe that LTC is a good project. But the thing is that Charlie Lee is handling the things in a very bad way. First of all he sold tokens at all time high, which drops the price significantly. Then they teamed up with a company who claim to provide master/visa card like services and even paid them, later on it turns out to be just a bad investment and that 3rd party wasn't legitimate at all. If Charlie Lee sold his tokens to focus entirely on the product, this thing shouldn't be happening at the first hand. And then he's active way too much on twitter, commenting on the replies, fighting with the other people, etc.

So unless this guy is involved, I'm not coming back to litecoin project. I have my own doubts over the handling of this project and I shifted my investment from LTC to other projects.

Now I would invest in less known tokens. Litecoin can give an increase of 100-200 percent in the next two years. But this is a very big risk.

Consider EOS tokens for investment

As long as there will be more BIP to be tested on the litecoin and then it could give a huge impact to the litecoin. But remember this, that's a hundred percent pegged to the bitcoin you should consider if the bitcoin will solve its scalability problem and it doesn't need more BIP and thenit could be the end of litecoin.

I'm not sure Litecoin is ag ood investment. Ltc is just a copycat coin of btc and even the developer charlie lee sold off his own litecoins.  I wouldnt trust a coin that had the developer sell of his own stack.

I think litecoin will get good future next years..we know litecoin same popular coin like doge ..stellar eth..and ltc price always follow at bitcoin rate..litecoin hasbeen popular at some market exchange same like dogecoin

i have always believed that every token/coin is a very good investment; it all depends on certain condition and terms namely;

1. time of investment must be precise
2. time of hodl must be concise
3. time to pull out and get massive profit without greed must be accurate

if you miss out on any of the options above, then you are not a trader

Not only litecoin but almost all cryptocurrensy is loss, This month is hard for crypto, Is Litecoin still an option and has a future or will we see no comeback? Sure, will. All old member in crypto already know about this, and not panic with this situation, because cryptocurrensy will recover again. So dont worry if you have more funds, better buy now, But not only litecoin.

Sure. I believe litecoin is still a good investment because it has the tendency and potential of becoming a good coin in the future. Try investing in litecoin and know it's worth.

If Bitcoin will get ETF approved, and the price will start to rise a lot, then Litecoin's price will increase a lot also because the masses will want to diversify and Litecoin is one of the coins that masses will want to add into their portofolio.

Still the best Litecoin than Ripple, if you know Litecoin is a legendary coin and all of it has many communities.

Many Exchange receive Litecoin and sometimes there are also ICo who receive payments for Litecoin.

for me all the coins are good and have different interests.
but now I prefer to hold ETH and EOS coins which I believe can rise high following bitcoin. LTC will also be able to rise high because we don't know which coins will go first to the moon.
You have to remember the cryptic nature of the fluctuating if the price drops will definitely rise again.

I do not think it's worth investing in this coin. It is a faster analog of bitcoin, which has no prospects at all

Litecoin was originally created in 2011 after it forked an updated version of the Bitcoin client. Litecoin has all of the functionality of Bitcoin with notable improvements. It is likely that in time Bitcoin and Litecoin could become the gold and silver standards, not just for purchases but for all other coins and tokens. I would say that Litecoin has a bright future ahead, but it's best to wait until the price goes down to $50/LTC before purchasing Litecoin for investment. It will probably go up to $500 or more. Just my 2 cents.  8)

Don't evaluate the future of crypto currencies by the current value or all time high,for now bitcoin is performing very bad so most of the other crypto currencies also falling so we highly depend on the bitcoin for the value other currencies.But litecoin is one of the good potential coin and it will fit perfect for the small payments so it will be the coin for future so don't hesitate to invest on that coin by current value.

We know that Bitcoin is a gold and litecoin is a silver, so it means it's good for investment like btc. If you are a long term investor you should add litecoin to your list of good investment and I believe it will be more profitable.

Litecoin is 80% down from December? Sound like a great opportunity to buy in my opinion. Litecoin is like Bitcoin, not as strong, but like Bitcoin in that it's always going to be there. So it being down 80% sounds like I should be buying some.

I'm not sure that this is a very good investment because the coin does not show that the increase and growth of what was expected of it.

It is not just litecoin that is performing worse every week, it is the altcoins in the market which are all suffering because the price of bitcoin is suffering. It remians a goodplace to put your money into, litecoin is still a relatively cheap coin with a lot of potential to do well in the long run which means that it is the kind of coin you want to be buying if you wish to make a lot of profit.

Of course it will be far different when comparing LTC with BTC or ETH. If analogous, bitcoin is gold and Litecoin is silver. However, despite these problems, LTC is still very feasible for investment.

Many bubbles never recover fully from their heights. That's why we can't look at the previous values to predict the future. Sure, maybe it will increase again, but how likely is it to increase to that same height when it stands at less than a third of it now?

I think that it is still a good investment but the thing is that with coins like litecoin when you buy them it can take you a while to make profit from the coins. That's why you should only buy the coins as a long term investment and not as a short term investment. There is a lot of money to make from investing in a coin like litecoin but you would have to buy very cheap and wait a long time for the price to go back up.

I don´t think NEO is performing much worse, probably you are not taking into account that the gas produced by holding it is also quite valuable. It is a matter of counting right.

Litecoin always in the top 10 ranking on the coin marketcap since tradeable in the market a few years ago. I know about LTC when the price just about $7 in 2015 and the highest price in december last year is around $360.  From technical and fundamental analysis LTC has big chance to bull run again to the that top price. LTC also has partnership with some big company that make the demand will increase.

May be you should know that Charlie Lee ,the founder of Litecoin sold all his coins at ATH and literally abandoned the litecoin,barring few occasional tweets on Litecoin.Litecoin has no use cases expect as currency.But there are many alts now that are much better than Litecoin

I think LTC is a still good coin and at 80% decent from it's ATH, it's a good buy at the current price. I think Charlie Lee just needs to take some off twitter and focus on Litecoin, because he's constantly portraying the fact that he's abandoned the project.

I hope you all can minimize risks. the bottom line is that the investment that you hope will provide great benefits in the future. so you should invest in a more promising place like bitcoin. I am sure you do not want to lose the capital you use to invest, my advice is to invest in the best place.

it's still worth the investment regardless of what other people say, I believe LTC is a good project. litecoin is one of the good potential coins and will be suitable for small payments so that it will become a coin for the future so don't hesitate to invest in that coin with the current value.

One of the best coins is litecoin. has the same concept as bitcoin. I am interested in seeing litecoin because it is stable when the bear market occurs this year.

Not many people can say they hold an entire bitcoin.
Litecoin however is still at a price where most people can buy an entire coin or more- fairly easily.
At least for now.

I like Litecoin as it's very fast and cheap to transfer value compared to BTC.
I use it for exchange to exchange transfers.

As for the development, I'm not really sure now since Charlie already sold his stack.
What's in it for him to continue developing Litecoin since he has none of it already?

Litecoin still good option for long term investment, you can see from their chart history and many public opinion about Litecoin performance. I hope you have big patience about your investment activity, this is really long term period.

As before, I still don't think put money in litecoin is a good choice.  Because litecoin is just a copy of bitcoin, don't have any innovation in litecoin. We will see litecoin dead in the end of this year.

If I am not mistaken Charlie Lee said he wanted LTC to stabilize around $300 USD. The volatility that we seen last year may never come back...Or it may come back with a vengeance.

I don't think so even though Charlie Lee has acquired a bank. There will be much greater projects to implement a cryptocurrency idea. And regarding the fast that LiteCoin always was a small brother of Bitcoin, I don't think that this is the case now.

I think LTC a good investment but not now because i want to buy it cheaper. I will buy Litecoin at $20 or lower price because it's fair price for me and i'm sure $20 will be the dip for Litecoin.

Litecoin is not a good investment right now. It's my personal opinion. There was not enough patience and persistence in the pursuit of the end to get to the goal, which was set in early 2018. Now the Litecoin team needs to prove to be a hero, so that investors will again believe and go with a decent investment in Litecoin.

I think Litecoin still has a chance to return better, because this year the price decline did not only occur on one coin, but almost all of the crypto markets were affected. you can still benefit from LTC, but all depends on how precisely you buy and sell the coin. for now, don't expect too much in long-term investment (HODL), because it's too risky. stay focused and see the market situation and the news.

According to the mind it is really better to diversify a portfolio. All funds to invest in one coin is not necessary. As an example, you can keep 50% in BTC, 30% in ETH and the rest in Dach, Litecoin, etc.

Of course Litecoin still a good investment. This is the second fork of Bitcoin, which still keeps well among many other altcoins. LTC has a transaction speed 4 times higher than BTC, the presence of atomic swaps makes it one of the most profitable investments at the moment.

Litecoin is one of the altcoins that deserves to be calculated, I think investment in litecoin is not a bad idea. I am sure that this coin will develop better in the future and will be more widely known for the future.

   I believe in Litecoin, too. When Charlie Lee step out and sold his Litecoins and said that he will work for the
