Title: Instagram Bounties
Post by: room237 on July 30, 2018, 07:02:43 PM
Why do ICO projects never utilize Instagram for bounty activities.  It seems like a lot of people like that site and it's very popular.  It's very surprising to me crypto has not made it's way over there yet.

Actually some bounties have instagram campaigns, it depends from bounty manager)

Yes, it really depends on the bounty manager or which bounty platform who manages it. they only give small percentage of allocation for instagram campaign, insta isn't that active on crypto they don't even have an advertisement about crypto.

Well so far I've not participated in any bounty on instagram but I think those bounty managers that include instagram as part of social media campaign is because they feel there are bunches of potential investors on there that needs to be reached and it's glaring it has always been useful and efficient that's why there are still instagram bounties

for instagram campaigns already exist, only payments are less transparent, maybe too many participants, because they have to check manually, you can join the signature I use, "action = reward".

Perhaps because instagram is not a good platform to attract investors. And that's why many managers just ignore it.

I saw here and there bounties with an Instagram campain. But as Ultimist said, that social network is not really suitable for that kind of activity. Instagram and crypto as yet to get along, but it looks hardly feasible as is. Friends (or whatever it's called) are not as easy to make, and thus expand a network of acquaintances.

It does tho. There are some campaigns who include intagram in their camoaign but rarely pays a good portion of the bounty.
Maybe it's because most tweet or facebook shares does not include images when they require particioants to advertise them in those platform. Last time I checked, instagram are for images. Maybe they think it will be best to just use the platforms where they can just use links and texts.
Anyway, Instagram is linked to facebook originally and I think facebook still have more users so.

Instagram isn't (for now) really much of a crypto marketing tool.

I think it's not good place to promote ICOs. Instagram usually for other things to promote for less thinking audience. If we start promote ICOs hard on every social media platform it will bring a lot of incompetent people who will be pretty bad investors. And it's not really good in my opinion.

They do actually, but not much. It's mostly because Instagram is not a great place to make promos for them. It doesn't suit well. People usually use it for personal purposes.

Try to check some projects out there, they are utilizing the popularity of instagram, in fact i have some projects where to used to promote it with instagram, not as many but i can see now more bounty managers are utilizing this platform. There are lots of users in this platform so this must be utilized, ive been using this campaign in Game Loot Network, and it pays a lot because still few participants used this campaign.

There are some ico who have prepared some prizes having instagram campaigns, because instagram is very successful in advertising projects because many people use social media instagram, its bounty is very easy, just friends in ico and post description once a week project

Wow I'm surprised to hear of the bounties using Instagram.  I have been looking and looking with no luck.  I better find a new surfing method.  How are the payout amounts compared to twitter/facebook?

I've seen a couple of bounties that include Instagram in their social media choices.  They structure it a lot like Facebook or Twitter, where if you have more followers you gain more percentage of the bounty share.

The payout is almost same or less than twitter/facebook because of many people joined on instagram bounty. It's not too hard to find a bounty which running instagram bounty.

Actually a lot of of social media bounty but still dpends to the bounty manager. But still for me Twitter bounty is the best social media for ICO. Linkedin Bounty I think also effective for ICO's its because most of crypto investors have linkedin account. I dont thinks so that Instagram is effective also

I think and I've also found there are some ICO projects that use instagram as a bounty medium, so I think this needs correction

There are bounties that are also including instagram as part of their campaign so you probably miss those bounties.

Like what they said, the manager has the final word on how he'll manage to advertise the project. But it also depends on how tight the budget of that project so if it isn't too big.

There are only chosen campaigns.

I have done Instagram bounties before.  They pay around the same amount as Twitter.  I like the Instagram platform much better.  Hopefully we see more and more Instagram opportunities in the future.

Yeah right, it's average already apply kyc in certain project.
Some people also think that kyc is a matter of ribetlah or how.
Because it must include the id into a project.

Well there are a few bounty that are really using Instagram in their campaigns, But why isn't there aren't so much campaign doing it? Or using Instagram as a tool for bounty campaigns, That is right that it will depend on the campaign manager on how he would handle it, But in my opinion why many managers doesn't include it is because Instagram is used to post pictures and there should be a picture for you to post, There might be some campaign that are posting pictures for the ICO or bounty But a lot are not certainly using it and It isn't necessarily need a picture for some post as a content.

Actually, there are bounties that have included Instagram as part of their campaigns. But I guess it depends on the bounty manager if they have decided to include Instagram in their bounty campaigns.

I believe some of them already use Instagram to promote the ICO project, this is good social media platform to grow up audiences to raise higher number. Development team also have opinion why they should use or not, we can't push them in this condition. Just follow several program, finish the task and enjoy the journey.

if it is quite rare to use facebook or twitter but not Instagram or other media for the social media campaign, I imagine it is because cryptos are not so popular there, plus it is more fleeting with its content, although it would not be a bad idea, because I think Instagram is more flexible with its advertising, if often there is almost explicit pornography I do not think there is any difficulty to publish ads on cryptos or at least some marketing.

just few and little ico project include for bounty campaign social media Instagram project, many bounty campaign never give allocation and space for media social Instagram are joining for bounty campaign project. maybe more difficult for include Isntagram bounty campaign project because there only giving space for uploading the picture, different by using social media Facebook and Twitter bounty campaign project.

I've found some instagram campaigns on some bounty, but I was never interested in joining.  I think twitter and facebook better than instagram for promoting bounty. And for bounty manager twitter and facebook is more easier to check and count.

I think many reasons why tim in project doesn't make project instagram bounties, it could be the policy instagram that makes the team that created the ico project did not make the instagram bounty. I think we just focus follow the other social media project just like fb and twitter I think it's wiser than thinking about the campaign in instagram that does not exist.

I think there will be a time that crypto will totally remove itself from social media. People who are interested on crypto will just go to certain websites that can help learn about crypto and ICO's. I think its better than social media because majority of people will just scroll than and won't even click on the ads.

Yes, too many people use the Instragram especially in developed countries. So even here we can advertise Bitcoin and ICO campaigns. Actually, the allocation of ICO campaigns is also great in instagram

maybe you are not researching well because I see there are some bounty already using instagram as a way to promote their ico and I think in the future all bounty will do that to attract more investors

there are projects that already use the campaign instagram, but not all projects. and i do not think it would have much effect if a project uses instragram as its marketing strategy. probably because it's bounty managers do not wear it.
and I'm also less interested if there is such a campaign.

Right, there are already managers who use Instagram as a campaign. And I see in the bounty spreadsheet, Instagram campaign are less attractive to bounty hunters.
But it seems that many bounty programs have started using Instagram as a campaign. And I think this will definitely develop, besides that many bounty hunters are getting interested and want to join the Instagram campaign.
