Post by: Luu An on July 31, 2018, 07:04:32 AM
Hi all
I am join to crypto currency market about 1 year, almost for invest ICO and trade, for mining field i have less experience, can anyone suggest me:
- Which hardware can use to mining: for BTC, ETH, altcoin
- Which software correspond with hardware above
- Power consumption, and ROI of this work. Should i join this field in this time ( BTC, ETH and altcoin has low value )
Many thanks.

I would suggest you browse this forum all across. There is plenty of information. Use a search option, it will give you out all the answers. Some of the themes are discussed over and over all the time.
Also, you are not mentioning your budget, there is a big gap between your own built rig and plug-n-go devices like ours (https:///Comino.com), easy to use, with our own software.
If you are in investment and ICO, and have expertise, why don’t you buy coins?

For BTC, you should use ASIC hardware (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Application-specific_integrated_circuit),
For ETH, you can use GPUs (Nvidia or AMD), but as of recently ASICs are also available,
For the various Altcoins you can use GPUs as well, although there are some alts minable with CPU (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2683343.0).

Maybe 2018 is not good for invest ICO, almost project when list to exchange has the same situation, price lower than ICO price. Hope Q4 2018 everything will better.
P/S i still hold alcoin: CMT, ONT but no more budget to buy.
