Alt coin are going down and down. When can the market go up again?
For me I am holding a lot of alt coins.

This is actually a very sad thing.
The bear market continues, and people are too optimistic about the overall market, which is obviously not a good thing.

I will waiting for bull run till december and if untill that month the crypto not any sign for bull run, so i have no idea and my hope is loss. I waiting for bull run since february, and i try to keep patient. And patient and dont be greedy is key to make money in crypto.

Bitcoin dominance of 48% is driving the altcoins down. Lot of investors selling their altcoin for btc but the problem is the market is still down meaning there arent new investors putting money in crypto.

Now I have learn so much from the price action of crypto,  and from this i get some knowledge if we should be has enough risk management and dont put all money in to crypto. We have to know when should be jump in to crypto and when should be exit from crypto market, and then we should be also put the money in to other asset like gold, stock etc.

Actually, there has been a lot of stability lately.
If you take a look at the value of a lot of coins, they have stayed within a healthy range over the past month.
When you compare it to last Jan. of course it looks terrible, but it's best to look at the reality of the market now instead of how it used to be.

We are seeing a lot of faith going into btc again.
This indicates new money slowly coming in and also investors moving to more reliable cryptos.
There are many who see the BTC ETFs as the reason why this is happening.

AS btc gains more dominance and alts stagnate, this actually sets up an ideal scenario for massive buy ins of alts in about two months.
So right now, prices are incredibly cheap and it is the right time to buy.
Trust me on this, you won't see these cheap prices forever.

Yep. I think I am too optimistic about the crypto market. I should stop investing more for now.

You are right. I learned from this lesson I should never put all money in crypto and need to manage risk for investment.

The overall situation is that many people keep altcoin and not just you. Personally I am also keeping a lot of good altcoin but not achieving the best profit. At the moment, all investments are risky and you should move to long-term investment because that's the best way to calm you down for a long time. Take advantage of this time to go to work and do not care about the market during this time

It is a tough time for altcoins right now. The fourth quarter is usually the time when new players come in and help pump the market. You need strong hands to wait for that next bull run.

My portfolio is very thin because I keep a lot of altcoins. If I was told that it would be half a year, I would have pulled out the money and earned elsewhere. But this happened, now I hope that in December that the will change.

Good idea, anyway still too early to sell now and its not in a right time. So be patience a little more bull run will cone soon. In fact there's already some good pumping happen in few days ago. That's a good sign and could be the start of bullish market.

no one can guess exactly when the market will start up again, we can only assume that the market will soon rise, we always try to think positively that everything will be fine, many people think that August to january market will increase , crypto trade will be very crowded in those months, I hope that analysis is true because I have tired of waiting.

Though there is a lot of good news about cryptocurrency and the market is still red.
but in one of the trading groups I followed, said that bitcoin will bounce at a price of $ 7800 (prediction).

this situation is very natural happened, never panicked. crypto market is always like this, you can use it to invest a good crypto by buying it in the market. even you can get the price below their ico price.

Many people sell altcoins and buy bitcoin in the hope that SEC will launch bitcoin to the moon. That's why the bitcoin grows in price, and alts fall

This is very normal if you invested to many altcoins, it's not our problem if you can see that your portfolio is all in for red. You're not the only one that suffers with the current market.

Get used to this type of investment and don't just ask when will the market goes up because no one knows.

true altcoin is getting down and down making many holders afraid of losing, holding back as hard as we can is the best way to pass this, I still believe the market will go up

as soon as you (and people like you aka bag holders) stop holding these altcoins!

that is the problem that we are facing these days, specially in the big market cap coins. the market is on a downtrend and the drops are inevitable but the bag holders keep on delaying it by their panic actions.
for example imagine an altcoin which is worth $1000 but it is supposed to be worth $100. the drop starts and price goes down to $900. the bag holders hold on tight, then the drop happens again and price goes to $890 then they panic and dump their bags and price goes to $850 but because it was a big drop there are day traders who buy the bottom to make a profit in short term so price recovers to $880, the bag holders seeing this jump back in and start buying at a loss and price goes to $890 but then after the dead cat bounce was finished the drop continues and price goes down to $800 this time harder because those day traders would sell on top and that triggers another panic sell.

this is repeated a lot of times so the drop is slowed down like what you see now and won't complete unless price reaches the real bottom.

Its true that alternative coins are loosing there values day by day but if look carefully actually the altcoin market is not overall down only some of newly launched altcoins are in pressure. I can see many strong projects have good buying support.

There is a slow down situation in the market. It is good time to buy I think. But be careful with continously drop in price which may make you get loss.

Stay calm and be patient, all altcoin has decreased at this time. And I do not think it will be long, keep hold coin you have because this time is not the right time to sell.

In the case of Bitcoin for example i think it is safe to buy at any price below $10,000 in the short term and it is always profitable in the long run. However for altcoins, it is hard to predict. Some coins or token lost over 75% of its value without any sign to grow again. Hopefully i did not buy any of it at the end of 2017 and I still hesitate to enlarge my crypto selection for now because of the red trending  :-\

I just jumped in this forum last year, and I try to stay calm and not complain, but I will learn to understand this situation. No one knows the condition of altcoin in the future, just a sense of patience and calm that must be nurtured, this is the world of crypto, altcoin plays as usual to get the heart of the community, to remain strong and survive.

For people who doesn't have that much capital to trade, this is worrisome. At the end of the day, we always aim to make money and no matter how much we love the coins we were holding, I think its best if we sell it if it takes years before it goes up again. I am not against those long term hodlers but the fact that the price keeps going down, I will sell it instead of being stressed everyday thinking on what could happen.

Down is the trend of all cryptocurrencies. You can look at bitcoin, that represents for crytocurrencies system. If bitcoin's raised, almost coins/tokens are raised too. So dont worry. If you believe in cryptocurrencies, you just wait it recovers.

Who knows what will happen with a market. It is quiet difficult to predict but I guess that bear fall will reach 4900$ in September and altcoins will go down too. It will be a great opportunity to buy and hold till the end of the year. 

It may have something to do with marketcap going down. BTC dominance is increasing but total marketcap is going down including btc and altcoins. Looks like more money is going out of crypto. This is a sign that something big is going to happen soon. Big boys manipulating the market badly!

It will go up when it gets high demand, but there are many factors needed to get high demand and all factors depend on market conditions and project development, unfortunately the current market conditions are bad and make the project development less appreciated, we need to wait a little longer for high demand in Altcoin markets

yes but its the best time to buy and hold for along time to get more profit in the future alt coin is worth to hold if the project is very good

Cryptocurrency market right now not good for altcoin, most altcoin price drop the price. If we saw on marketcap, bitcoin dominant rising from 38% in few months ago and right now become 48%. I am believe in few months altcoin price will increasing again and bitcoin dominant will reducing because i think bitcoin dominant more than 40% is not good for market

As for me, no one can tell you now when everything will change in the market and prices will go up. Another question if you have already triggered your loss threshold, then why do you continue to ask this question...

But if you see the market starts to drop, you'll see tons of people who are complaining and I did it too before but we have to stop overacting if we're on that situation.

We have to adopt the market and if ever it goes down, buy at advantage and if ever it goes up, sell at profit.

No one can know when the market goes up, because it is unstable. Just be patient and wait. And yes, now is the time to invest in altcoins, as the price is very small.

not only you, I also hold many assets from Altcoin. so much decline for altcoins when bitcoin goes down again. I think this is not something extraordinary, in my opinion, if bitcoin grows back quickly there are lots of altcoins that are growing fast. so wait and be patient

No one knows in when the market will recover but I'm sure that eventually it will recover. Holding is good but are you sure that the alts you are holding are the right one? You must make sure that the alts you are holding are the right one or else it will cost you a lot.

I think it will be very difficult to predict accurately and surely, because that is not possible. so you should try to find out and try to find knowledge about technical analysis, especially if you can study graphs. Not only you feel sad. When I checked today the wallet - it was unpleasant surprise. But I would not tell that it is a tragedy.. We should be more patient and keep the situation on the pulse. Yeah you are absolutely right all altcoins are going down and down I think it will take a lot of time to go up because there is no hope for uptrend of crypto market I am also holding some altcoins and waiting for up trend.

It is almost impossible to make precise forecasts on this issue. It should be noted that high volatility is absolutely normal for any type of assets. I think the market will go up in the Winter. ETF has been postponed by SEC until September 30th. This is why the market fall down quickly in these day. I think ETF  will be approved and after that a bull market will run.

Altcoins are drastically droping because of bitcoin, the only one thing we should do is to HOLD and wait for the next big event. Sooner or later the issues in ETF will solve, just wait for that and let see what will happen next. And dont worry every thing is has to happen for the better future of crypto currency.

now all that we know is that No one can guess exactly when the market will start up again, what we only can do is,  assume that the market will rise in future. all experts opinions have been a failure so far. I don't fully trust any one's opinions about the market anymore.

I am holding quite a good amount of altcoins in my portfolio, at the moment I have just five of them, but in big quatities and I think the recovery of the market could take several months, some of the altcoins lost even 90 percent of their value, the market over all will have to moon in order to get profits this year.

Do not pay so much attention to this falling, it means that they are not stagnant and there will be increasing after this falling, have a patience only.

Pay attention to Stellar Lumens, its up 7% for the week while everything else is down, making its performance 4 x  better than Bitcoin this week.

we don't know how long the altcoin price will continue to fall. even I see that crypto prices are getting down. what can be done now is to wait until the crypto price rises again. that way we can avoid the big losses. besides, with crypto prices going down like this we can buy coins at low prices, after that we can save them.

Dude cheer up this situation already happened in the past thus its normal for the prices to turns up and down due to the market's volatility.

You said you're holding many coins, so then if you're a long term holder dont be too affected in this bear market because there's so many things to look forward and more room for development.

The Altcoins market has a lot of potential cryptos like ETH, EOS, NEO, LTC, etc. If Alt goes down, I think there will be other potential alt altogether. The Altcoins will never die, but the market may rise in early 2019 or 2020.

You must be patient and dont panic. Just hold until the price is up.  We can not predict when the price is up.  Altcoin is down because bitcoin is down too.  Still calm. the time will come when altcoin prices will rise and exceed the beginning of last year.

They have been for a long time and the best time to sell them was months ago. That's the way it is , nothing you can really do about it expect to adapt to the circumstances

I believe that the market will go up when whales will be profitable to buy many coins at a low price, maybe they just wait for the right time. The main thing is not to sell your coins in panic.

That situation is normal only in crypro world sometimes the price goes up and sometimes the price goes down also and if you know that trick you buy more and hold for long term when the price deep down and sell it when the price goes up again.

Yeah the crypto market is currently down and it is expected that the market will pick up again by the end of the month and begin of September, and we are expecting bull run should in-case the bitcoin ETF is approved.

It might take a while for the market to get back up. With bear markets there is never any easy way to tell how long the prices will be down for. Some times it can take a couple of months or a couple of years at a time. What you can do now is to just hold your altcoins for the meantime since the prices have dropped so much and selling is not an option.

Yes altcoin are going down for now, i think this is not time to invest. We don't know when the market will go up again. But i believe altcoin will be back this year just be patience always. And wait for that time to make good investment.

Basically the market conditions, especially the Altcoin market are very dynamic and not easy to predict specifically. But many people believe that coin prices will improve by the end of 2018 or early 2019. I don't know where they predict crypto. And hopefully their predictions really happen.

The altcoin market does indeed move in a dramatic way since it is "leveraged" to bitcoin--that is when bitcoin pumps alts pump more, otherwise it dumps much more. With this, it is much safer to pull out of the market for the mean time since not all alts that suffer sever dump ever recover from it.

No one will know the future as well as the price of crypto. So many people choose to buy now and hold until the price is up. They think this is the best and lowest price in 2018. But I think that in 2018 the market will go down as low as possible. And 2019 will be a great year for crypto after a year of adjustment, so I'm pretty sure the market will continue to go down.

No one can tell the right time, it's been a long way to take this kind of journey but keep in your mind that how long the road it is, it will surely end, so hold your keeps not let your self in panic.

Do not be too panic about the current market situation because everything is common in the crypto.I myself will buy more potentially good altcoins and invest them, so if the market has improved and the price rises higher then I will take it off and get a profit.

Probably by the end of the year we could see some progress on the altcoin market, after a lot of time of mostly dropping, it actually depends if more promising projects start coming into the market in the next months.
