Title: Hardest to explain about crypto and bitcoin?
Post by: Impulseboy on August 01, 2018, 08:32:17 AM
What is it about bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general that you think is the hardest to explain to those who are new to the crypto world, as well as crypto haters? I remember before I signed up to bitcointalk and am already reading about the entire concept of cryptocurrency and it is too much to digest. I think no beginner will get it after just one reading so I ask, what do you find the hardest to explain about crypto and bitcoin?

The hardest question for beginners is "Why do I need to use bitcoin?" =)

I thought the question would be "WHY DO YOU PARTICIPATE CYPTO? "

Hardest? not really there's a hardest thing in cryptocurrency.

Well it can be the hardest part if you are talking to someone who's very skeptic about cryptocurrency and you are trying hard to explain it.

This question is pretty easy to answer though. It's just that there are so many different approaches you can take when trying to answer this question or when explaining the advantages of bitcoin. I would probably ramble for an hour if someone asks me this question.

Bitcoin primary value comes from due to it's censorship resistance or as a fact that peer- to- peer electronic cash system?

This is the question that I think hardest to give exact answer? (As far as my knowledge and it's just my thought only ;))

Just simply answer the basic question to newcomers, no need to explain the whole thing.

If those beginners really want to learned crypto and they are really eager to do so then they will spend time learning all things about crypto.

Generally different people have different level of understanding things so I don't see what is the hardest thing to explain about crypto by majority.

The hardest question to explain is "why does bitcoin even have a value" in my opinion. People often compare Bitcoin to assets like gold and dont understand that it is worth so much more than its price in dollars.

I agree. However, some people also do not like to read and are too lazy to research about it that is why it is hard to explain crypto to a beginner or a hater. Sometimes it is like explaining it to a five year old. Even the simplest things can be complicated.

For those who don't understand cryptocurrencies, it's hard to explain the meaning of coins in a short time, because they only believe in what they can see and touch!

I think the detailed explanation of blockchain technology.
The nodes, full nodes, hash, mining, blocks, and like are really hard to explain to people who are not literate to computers.

Those who do not trust the cryptos, no matter how they explain and how they still believe. Witness their own eyes and they get some profit when they invest in cryptos. But I still wonder what the Coinbase means?

just a personal opinion but I think crypto and children is nonsense topic, I don't think one need to explain btc to a child, once the time comes they themselves can learn it if they wish.
