 I think every year is repeated. And at the end of 2018 with new volumes will jump even higher than in 2017.

I think trade will change for the better! bitcoin slowly goes up and everything falls into place!

If everyone thinks like you then it is better but that is not what is going to happen. It is better this way, high volumes every minutes of trading, I also thought about it, people change so maybe the ATH will be not be at the end of the year. It will be around Q3 of the year or Q1 of the year 2019. Or another scenario it will take another 3 years to reach it's new record.

There are many hypotheses about the future of BTC. I hope the BTC value will reach about $ 25000 and then the field will have more positive signal.

I really hope that will happen by the end of the year 2018 because I am really broke right now because of how the market moves. I can`t really wait anymore for the market to jump already. I hope sooner or later the market will soar high again.

I think the bitcoin price at the end of 2018 will be higher than the current price, as bitcoin price growth also increases every day, so I believe that bitcoin prices in the future will be better to use.

Yeah. If we look at the past years' trends we'll see that towards the end of every year bitcoin's price just go up and probably will continue to be like this in this year. If everyone thinks like you are then bitcoin will be very successful in my opinion.

Here the end shouldnt be confused with December. In order to gain profits you can have two strategy
1. You can invest in alts somewhere around last oct of early nov and wait for bitcoin to peak and sell them.
2. Also the alts show 4X multiplication during jan and feb. Use that opportunity as well.

I hope that it will higher than the peaked price last year before the end of 2018 but we don't know if that will happens or not. Let's us all hope for better and keep helping bitcoin to spread with good news so many new investors will buy. Although it is the best time to buy while the price is still low, we cannot assure that it will rise to $19k.

Patience will give you a huge rewards, if you doesn't have that for sure the chance to gain profits will be lost. Waiting for the market will going better are too bored because of the duration but it makes you feel happy when the market rise.

yes every year will change its exchange rate, in 2017, and now, next year bitcoin I think will experience a very significant decline, I predict the value of bitcoin in 2019 will be the same on bitcoin in 2017

Well see what will happen before the end of this year because there still a lot of time before the end of this year just like  what happen lash year theya few months before the end or the year bitcoin price pump realy hard.

History may be repeat but every time is not possible because now market is not predictable also in July we are seeing hope but we can't say Bitcoin will touch ATH price of December 2017 but possibilities is long term holders will get profit from bitcoin because  Bitcoin will break ATH price in upcoming Months so we need to always invest in deep market for long term hold.

There is no fixed time that the market will be alright at the end of 2018. You never know these ups and downs  as the markets are highly volatile. It's impossible to speculate with 100% accuracy about the markets.

You are wrong. Look at the Bitcoin history prior to 2017 and you will see a 3 year slump, where nothing really happened. You

should stop looking at Bitcoin's historic price and just focus on what is happening every day, because Bitcoin has no fixed

Yes, its depends if the price of bitcoin is high or reach its peak like last year or even higher than that. There is no sure time that bitcoin price will be increase. Every time is the right time to trade, its just depends on you, because only you can decide what will be going to happen on your investments. But if you're a long term investor, its best to wait for the bull run.

I think not end this time but definitely it would be hit up again in this last year, trading look like continue with me and I don't looked price now this moment, because I hope 2018 last month will our good news.

The next hearings of Bitcoin ETF is lined up for the Q4 of this year and if anyhow the ETF gets accepted by then, many big investors will join the market, people will start buying Bitcoin ETFs in return making bitcoin's demand to skyrocket all of a sudden. Which will definitely make history repeat itself and Bitcoin might even surpass the previous 20,000$ mark if such situation arises.

I think trading in late 2018 is also the right time to HOLD more bitcoin, because for us you will get more bitcoin next year.

Their is no guarantees that prices would jump up by year end. We just have to be optimistic

But I am not that optimistic. Of course, as an investor and crypto trader, I would like cryptocurrencies to start seriously grow as it was in previous years, especially at the end of 2017. But the problem is that the majority of people expect this scenario. And as the practice shows, the market almost always moves in the opposite direction of the expectations of the crowd. Therefore, I think there is a big chance that we won't see a huge growth like it was in previous years (up to 20000$/BTC) by the end of 2018. But at the beginning of 2019, when a lot of investors get frustrated about this market, lose their patience or simply withdraw their funds to fix their annual profits or results, then, when nobody already expects, will see a long-awaited pump.

i agree to that, i think that history repeat itself, its a cycle of market behaviour, with the good news coming everynow and then most likely the price will pump.

If it will repeat like in 2017, I think it is obvious that market is being controlled by whales. It might become a conspiracy so that they will earn a lot. Imagine, the only significant event in the end of the year are new year and Christmas. But I do not think it is a widely reason why the price hikes only at the end of year. However, I will invest right now so that I will earn it.

2018 is just like 2015-2016 when there was not much hype regarding crypto. Market was boring just like as it is now. Hope interesting times will come back soon.

Well, I am expecting the entry of the big whales and institutional investors within the next 3 to 4 months and then the price will start moving towards the all-time high level. It is true that we will see the similar surge in the price like that of the previous year but I believe that we will see sustainable growth for short-term and the correction won't take place immediately after the price rally. In fact, big whales have already started accumulation during and after the previous price correction.

We are facing the bearish trend for almost seven months now. I think it can't get any worse now, so the only way for the market to move is up. I think we'll get more money in the market and we all will make good gains (hopefully).

At the end of 2018 many things might happen. Some coins will go boom and some will go lower they expected. End of 2018 is very different to last year because lot of things happened previous month and these will affect the outcome.

We can't be certain that we can duplicate the rapid increased (pump) of the last quarter of 2017 specially December. We really need to observed and see how it goes. I don't want to burst the bubble but I feel that we can't repeat 2017, this bear market will still continue as much as we don't want it to be. For me I would be happy if bitcoin can push to the 5 digits at the end of the year. I'm very bullish about the market, but the sentiments today is very different of last year.

If you are saying that it will be following the same pattern, then why wait for the end of the year? Just invest now and hold till the end. You will be making your maximum profit and will also be helping to pump up the price. But do keep this in mind that this is the crypto market. Everything is unpredictable and you might see the opposite of what has happened the last year. So be prepared to face anything unexpected that comes up.

Your mindset is wrong from the beginning. Every year is different, but why do you have to wait till the end of 2018? Why not trade at this very moment and take advantage of the situation? What if we ended the year on a bad note? The market is unpredictable and we can't control the price, but we can control and make good trades. There are no signs that we are out of the woods yet and the bullish market that we all have been waiting might not happen this year.

We have heard a lot of bitcoin price forecasts in 2018, and almost all of these predictions have very high prices, seeing our current market conditions it is impossible to reach prices above $ 20,000.
But one thing that I believe is that bitcoin is not time to die.

Everyone is hoping for this. It is not necessary that it will repeat it's last year episode :P.Because bitcoin is un-predicable. But at this moment market is going down rapidly from the start of August. I don't what will be the next stop for BTC, it has already reduced by 1000$ in short time.

I think I somehow agree that it will be repeated this year on what happened on the price last year which reached $19k+ but we cannot tell that for sure because the bitcoin is very volatile and unpredictable but lets us all hope that we will have a better end of the year than before.

We must wait for the completion of projects on the third blockhain and I think that the growth will be very large. Almost agreeing with you though many people are talking against it. BTC price, by experts prediction, will grow more than before and it will reach more than $20000. Few weeks ago, I predicted it will be around $40000-$60000. We cannot actually say what will happen, just we can make an assumption.

Besides that, nobody can predict the future in crypto. Many experts had been saying BTC will be rising soon but all we have seen is a minor spike followed by a dump. BTC did spike up in the last month and crossed $8k but then soon it suffered from the dumps and now its below $7k. I guess it's hard for BTC to reach even upto $15k this year.

The total market cap of crypto is a lot bigger than the actual amount of money invested. I think that's to be expected in a new and growing industry, but the extremity in this case worries people. Hopefully projects will get off the ground and utility will start to catch up with expectations so we get a steadier consolidation in quality projects instead of a huge pop, but that might be optimistic. It is not right to base the price of bitcoin base on the past since the news then were different now. But the trend at which the price opens and closes every year is hard to disregard. I strongly agree. Right now, a wise man should start accumulating cryptos so that they will be prepared for the bull run. But, we should be not so confident about the repititions every year. This year might change because no one is certain about it.

That's just how the cycle goes though every year. New exposure, new news, new investors, new money from the outside, all time high. And when another year starts, Bitcoin would plunged again to the bottom just like that. If you think about it, it's so scary but it's heaven for early investors. yes I think so, a the beginning of this year I thought that too, about bitcoin increasing in Q2 Q3 and Q4, but until right now August the bitcoin still in this rate, there are not increasing, I don't know about the end of this year, is it will increasing like the last year or not

Everyone wants to see the starting of 2019 with a new lifetime high of bitcoin but market conditions are not supportive of that from last some months and market is hanging in between up and down and not able to find a solid support at any level. If one big positive news hit the market then it can change the trend.

Big chances of the bitcoin will be higher before end of this year 2018 than 2017. Bitcoin near at 20k dollars december 2017 and I believe before end of this year 2018 become 50k dollars and that is the highest but it's not sure if it's happen or nor.

If that's too good, I expect the volume for the following year to triple this year. Let's hope that the bitcoin rebounded for $ 10k by the end of 2018, when investors will be excited to invest in the Cryptocurrency market again.  ::) ;D :)

That's a great observation of you. Technically that's when we get our volumes got high that's why we are on the track on getting pumped on :). And that's the great opportunity to trade. It's because that's when the market is very healthy.

I don't think that bitcoin's value increases every day but rather every year. Im expecting a below yearly average for the price of bitcoin this year because of bad movement of different governments towards cryptocurrency.

It's hard to predict, I think if the market is filled with investors and adopts bitcoin, then at the end of the year bitcoin can increase high, because the value of bitcoin is determined by market demand and supply.

No. We cannot be confident about that. The price rose to about 1000 dollar in late 2013. Then it dropped to about 200 dollar. That price rise didin't repeat in 2014. 2015 and 2016 were also same as 2014.

I hope what you say right. We are impatient with the big jump in the price of bitcoin. We don't care about the SEC's decision to reject ETFs. In essence, we must be optimistic that bitcoin will make its second best achievement year, in a way that we cannot know.

I think so, but it's not totally true. It probably exactly repeated, but somehow there's difference. I mean, bitcoin even seems so true repeated, it has no pattern. It can't be predicted, whether the time or the price. It fluctuates all the times, no one knows why or how to handle the changing. All people do is standing on their decision, it can be holding, keep trading, buying, or selling their coins.

Apparently its not the same but perhaps it rhymes with a similar rhythm set off by the end of year events and forthcoming Chinese new year.     Theres xmas holidays and a tax event at the end of this year?   I dont see why the market has to care about a calendar month or thats its end of year really.    Its not like we are trading Corn or Wheat here with a commodity cycle set by the rhythms of the earth, BTC can do whatever it likes and whenever.
