Post by: adaseb on August 01, 2018, 03:31:13 PM I don't have any experience with the Bitcoin Cash wallet (The one where you need to download > 100Gigs) but the Electron Cash seemed legit.
I verified the hash that it was signed by that Jyoofball guy and just used it cold like I did with Electrum. I used it a few times and no coins where stolen, so its definately safe. Bitcoin ABC or other full-nodes client isn't recommended unless you want to waste your storage/bandwitch and AFAIK bitcoin.com wallet isn't open source. Post by: theymos on August 04, 2018, 07:58:54 AM Electron Cash was created by forum user jonald_fyookball (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=261027), who has a long record and an OK Trust history, so that's what I'd be inclined to use, though I'd still run it in a VM. And as ETFbitcoin suggested, you should empty and retire your BTC wallet before trying to claim the BCH.

Post by: tronghoa on August 04, 2018, 10:47:48 AM I think the best way is install VM and then you can install the wallet to VM to claim your coin. The other way is claim your coin to wallet on exchange - sometime I did that to store the coin in one place.
