Why would one want to use it instead of hiring a couple brilliant software engineers and write our own secure version that has no lock-in vendor? The liquidity aspect is quite weak if i can't even see a single player in the network at the moment. Of course, anyone with money and time to create an exchange can do so, but there are high regulations and not every company has the time or expenses required to create a secure exchange.
