I don't know why today WAVES falling to much , I bought it $3 .

Does anyone know what's happening ?

Nothing is happening. Crypto market in bearish trend. Other alts are also red.

No need to ask why it's happening to Waves. The market is in bad shape for this week so majority of the coins are dropping low.

And for few days bitcoin dropped more than $1,000 so it gives effect to the market as whole. If you see your losses, you have to hold until now so you can recover later on.

But if you can't wait for the recovery, cut your losses.

That's right. Market is very unstable at the moment. Hold tight.

nothing happend ,, its normal in current market
most of traders and investors are panic, so this made the price of waves down hard

What happened to waves happened to almost every coin in the market. We are in a very serious downward trend for now. The market still seems too unstable so it is also important to be cautious when trading.

I don't know of any particular problem with Waves that is leading to its falling price.
NEO, ETH and other major Altcoins are also losing value so the most likely reason is that whales are cashing out and crashing the price of Waves et. al.

I think it's just because the whole market is falling.
People started to panic, so much token was being sold.

waves price was sinking....now alt mostly blessing and dump hard...just wait btc to up more..

Everything is falling big time. I don't think it's a problem with waves, alt coins are just drowning. The market is so low right now that we can't really judge the alt coins based on price right now. I see waves correcting as the market corrects back up.

Dont asky why but sell your alt because its gonna go down again, cut your losses and wait for a better price for a re-entry

I think blockchain 2.0 intiatives (smart contract revolution) by and large are getting eaten up by their 3.0 (interoperability, communicability, scalability revolution) successors. Blockchains that aren't solidifed as Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc are need to bring in real use to maintain value, and the easiest platforms to develop on will receive all he activity.

I saw Russian thread about waves and I saw there are the same questions. There are 2 options - first of all usually waves team or someone involved to waves team buy some tokens. They usually supports their token. of course this is not official, but people who looks like insiders wrote about that. The second one - there are one huge seller. Nobody knows who is this, but looks like this is someone from older investors or something and of course all market was red, so this is multiple effect.

The cryptocurrencies market is getting bearish by the days and wave is not exempted!  The bearish market is very real and it might be heading towards were it started from last year.  I am not happy about what is happening to wave because I invested into wave early this with anticipation that it will reach $100 before end of this year but the reverse is the  case.

I think we no need to know the reason for this dump :). Maybe it's just a trick of crypto exchange to kill all margin traders or something like that or maybe it's just a trap of the whales to collect WAVES from panic sellers,.....so many reasons and we can't know which one is the true reason for this dump :). We just need to believe that it'll rise back :).

Yeah this is usually what makes a selling spree much worse. Things are already a bit red on the altcoins market as it is, and then if there's a massive move it sets off an avalanche. Waves looked like it had pretty good support around the 2.50-3 region and I was even thinking about getting in there. But now it's plunged down there's no telling where it will go.

It will slow down though, so nothing to worry about. But it might not come back up to a good level for a few more months after such a large drop, unless some big investors get into it. They would need to have a very good reason to do this.

The whole market is decreasing and WAVES is one of the projects who is decreased in price. The platform who they want to build is promising, so I think that they can do very well in the next period.

All market is red you're right , but Waves price drop more than other coins. Now waves on 52th place and this is really sad,cause they have working platform and very promising future, but when I see bitcoin diamand on 42th place I don't know what to say, really. This is very manipulated market and most of people looking just to the price, not for real cost.

Dear buddy everyone here is to make more money from whatever the coin it may be. The real cost or may be the practicality of the coin may not be seen sometime when it come to investors interest where they can make good money from a non practical currency than a practical one. Anyway when the market is red then you have to experience such changes on the chart.

yes of course most of us here to make money. But you can make money in other way, not just when you're trading coins or when someone try to make pump or dump. Sometimes companies make profit and this is really good sign for everyone:participants,investors, holders, sellers. Waves is a working platform. They have their exchange, client,wallet and even some ICO's built on Waves. Still this is very unpredictable and manipulated market, so this is really hard for good team make something better, because most of people need HYPE, x10 and lambo in 1 month. I hope waves still continue to work on their platform. 

Nothing happening to waves but something happening to all cryptocurrencies, you can see it is clear that all cryptocurrencies tank now. You should think twice before selling.

I do not know too. Its been a while since I the last time I used it. But, actually I did not used it I just view it, but I remember my waves wallet has a token but I did not mind to open it again because I not used to use it. I'd rather choose to used Eth wallet and Bitcoin wallet its more easy and convenient to use.

Why did you even invest in them)) Everyone here rules the market saying that everything is painted red. I would in your place took all the coins translated into the etherium))

As others have said nothing special is happening with waves what we are seeing is nothing more than a  general decrease of the price in the market of cryptocurrencies and waves got affected as well like all the coins in the market, just be patient the market will recover someday but you are only going to recover your money if you keep holding your coins.

I have not seen any kind of increasein the demand in waves as there are many personal blockchain coins introduced like Stellar, Neocoin, Freedomcoin which are getting more demand than waves and also the Waves project coins are mostly comes under the Scams or you can say people are creating crap coins under waves which is decreasing the value and demand of waves and because of it waves is falling in price.

Hard to predict for market condition right now. The mother of coin aka Bitcoin also fall and usually if Bitcoin price goes down the other altcoins follow go to the hell  ;D

Waves is planning a lot of significant new features through 2018 - plus it is already the fastest distributed blockchain - so you could end up regretting that. Nothing predictable in crypto tho' - Good luck!

Waves is just following the trend of the bearish market, everything is in red and so is Waves. 

Now all crypto currencies are falling in price due to the fact that most investors buy Bitcoin. After such a big price increase, this fall is absolutely normal.

I think, Waves should be at the best price, maybe $ 10. However, they are very active and Waves has been busy for a few months to introduce the products and services they have developed. I am not sure whether Waves will experience an increase this year (price), hopefully this will happen.

I'm not sure about 10$ , but now Waves should be about 5$. 1.86$ this is really very low for that coin. They have their own working platform and I hope price will recover soon. This is not good for Waves if price will be so low for a long time, cause people will ask about that more and more.

Cut loss is not always right but also not always wrong. Its relatives. However we can choose it based on our situation. Do it if you think its beter for you. I agree that not only waves that goes down but most of crypto is not in good shape. I am not happy with this and also the other but this is the way of crypto moves.

in my opinion waves and others crypto need a good news and hype to create new demands  :)

I do not know what is happening, I am not interested in these projects at all. It's just no one wants the waves. It is expected to fall. Below 0 will not fall, do not worry ;D
another Russian ICO is not a Scam and it is good, but on the exchange these coins are not needed

it’s normal. BTC is falling, so another altcoins are following too. But I think in aug BTC will have chance to hit 9k and another altcoins will climb too. Just Hold.

i bought waves from 12. now it is 3 dollar. i lost more than 5000 dollar from that trade until now. i am hodling until that amd will hold until waves reach 20

The major problem of Waves is also that it loses the pursuit against Ethereum, NEO, QTUM and other coins with smart contract functions.

The whole market is affected by the Bitcoin price falls therefore not only the Waves but most of the coins are in difficult too that even do the Altcoins commodities are feasible to the masses but still the demand of it did not increase. This mean that the bearish market is still in effect that we need more patience on when will be the bullish trend will start that there is nothing we can do but to continue to wait and see.
