Apple just surpassed 1 trillion usd in market cap today, when will bitcoin hit 1 trillion??? With btc sitting at $7500 and a current market cap of $130 billon, btc has to hit $60k usd to get to 1 trillion.  What’s everyone’s prediction when btc will hit $60k?  My wild prediction is 2024!

That's pretty random and pretty high end prediction out there you know, 60k is very large amount I don't think it's gonna happen in 4-5 years or so , first of all all the countries will take 4-5 years to accept Bitcoins allowing them to rise up, and after that acceptance they need to integrate with the society making them somewhere stable thus I think it's not that soon to happen, it could no doubt but I would think there are still 40 years for that to happen, because Bitcoins is somehow getting Stable thus sudden uprise won't happen .

When you can buy it online in 5 clicks and use it in any major retailer anywhere in the world to pay for goods, like you can with the iPhone and Apple Pay. Maybe then it will be worth that much, but that is years away, if ever.

I would say somewhere between 1 and 10 years.

Smartphones from Samsung, Google pixel, Moto G, Nokia, Oneplus, Xiaomi. Do not think iphones and apple inc. products will survive for long.

Apple inc. $1 trillion is money creating money or money from thin air.

There are best laptops from Dell, HP etc.. for internet use. There is no need for smartphones. Also there are tablets for manlets. GAME OVER for Apple Inc. Now there are 4.8 billion internet users.

Bitcoin came quite close during December 2017, when the market cap was $340 billion and the total crypto market capitalization was over $800 billion. All it takes is another massive spike and we may witness $1 trillion in combined market cap for all the cryptos.

No predictions can be made about when Bitcoin market-cap will reach 1 trillion dollars. Crypto is highly volatile, it reached nearly 20,000$ in Dec, so it can also reach 60,000$ this year or it may not happen even in next 10 years. No one can make perfect prediction regarding Crypto currency or Bitcoin.

Bitcoin might be less to $60k before it hit $1trillion as market cap but will not be that year and am sure it will be 2020+ but will not be 2024 , we still have e full support for Bitcoin and crypto at large and it's very bearish for now and soon will be a bull run .

Don't compare Apple.Inc with the crypto currencies they are not same fields.Anyway we are in the early stages and as you said bitcoin needs to hit $60K if the cap value goes to $1 Trillion the time needed maynot be more than five years because every year the price of bitcoin getting new all time high so we may see that bitcoin surpass Apple in few years like at 2021.

it needs a little more than $50k to reach 1 trillion market cap and $50k is not something that far away to reach. it will take time, probably until  2019 to get there but we will be there. I remember a year ago people were eagerly talking about gold parity and when will price reach about $1000-$1200 and there was arguments that it will never happen.... look where we are now!

by the way I still find it pointless to compare market cap of a company with market cap of a cryptocurrency since market cap for the later doesn't mean much.

Many governments just want to know about blockchain and ignore cryptos, for that very reason I do not believe that it is possible to reach very high marketcap a few years, at least it would take more than 10 years to at least most countries accept bitcoin as they accept the mobile phones made by apple

And Apple's not even making their own screens anymore! That's a sure sign of defeat as their main competitor has the contract to make a major part of their phone. I personally prefer Apple products but don't agree with their strategy ever since Steve Jobs died. He had the vision, the rest of them are just flopping around.

That $1 trillion is thanks to the Fed printing money almost non-stop over the last decade. So if we look at it that way, almost every citizen in the world owns a part of Apple. Because every central bank has USD in reserve, and if they pay taxes, they own part of that reserve, which is part of Apple's market cap. So they effectively borrowed from the people to make a self-serving corporate giant that will of course be "too big to fail" if anything bad were to happen.

if bitcoin reach 1 trillion dollar market cap then we can expect bitcoin price will be around 100000 dollars which is very much possible in next 3 years of time

$60k is very much possible in 2-3 years. But whether Bitcoin will sustain that price point, that is the question which it most probably won't be able to. $60k needs a huge demand which can only happen if institutional investors increases and money inflow increases along with it. Bitcoin needs some experienced investors shifting from other traditional assets. With gold being at $10 Trillion marketcap, it seems quite possible for bitcoin or cryptos in general.

bitcoin is different from apple because few people know the bitcoin at the moment, unlike apple that almost everyone knows. it's just a matter of time.

60k dollars for the bitcoin price possible happen in the year of 2019 or 2020 and if that happen market cap will be 1 trillion. But 60k dollars is not sure if it's happen or not because now the price needs to pump first.

Time will tell. Nothing is impossible. A decade ago, would you have thought apple could be worth a trillion dollars? As for the future, just wait.

If etf gets approved this year we might see 1 trillion btc volume earlier than 2024 infact 2020 is more realistic, also the last quarter of this year will.also be important we will have to see if btc breaks the previous all time high price this year or not.

Apple took more than 30 years to reach this stage we can expect the similar for bitcoin in next 2 to 3 years it can happen with mass adoption by merchants and public demand

Why do you care about Apple?They have millions of apple fanatics,that will buy any shit that Apples(or the chinese companies like Foxconn) produces.I really hope that some day, bitcoin will have the same army of millions bitcoin fanatics.By the way,60K USD per btc is really possible,maybe after 10 years(if bitcoin still exists).

If the BTC can really create real social value, then I think it is very likely to reach the market value of one trillion dollars, but at present, BTC is only in the field of payment, so it is impossible in the short term.

Then Bitcoin needs a clever marketing wizard behind it like Steve Jobs. Apple wasn't anything special, he just explained it in a way that made it look special. Instead of saying "this MP3 player holds 1000 songs" he said "this iPod has enough music in your pocket for you to fly from Los Angeles to New York and back" or something like that.

Bitcoin needs a face. No one likes anonymity when they are looking at investing money. That's why so many people still don't trust bitcoin. They cannot associate an image or brand or face to it like they can with other products.

60,000 is doable, i'll put in a wild guess at 2020 when bitcoin really starts to get going. This is certainly more realistic than what john mcafee was predicting a while back. Something like half a million - lol!

Just a question, why do you care that apple surpassed the market cap of 1 trillion dollars? Because I do not care and I do not see what kind of relationship you see between bitcoin and apple to create the comparison, and about when bitcoin is going to reach that market cap, I think that is irrelevant what it matters is that at some point it will reach it and I will make sure to hold my coins and wait for that day.

Although 1 trillion would be definitely possible, people forget that bitcoin might be replaced. Right now it doesn't look very likely but in the near future with all the adoption, bitcoin wont be the gate to other cryptos anymore. We will have fiat pairs for all the good cryptos and bitcoin will not control the market anymore.
