If I had to make a prediction for 2014 it would be that MTGOX would somehow cause some sort of news that would start a panic selling of Bitcoin. Not to imply that Bitcoin is not going up longer-term. Fact #2: MTGOX had $5 million seized and an ongoing lawsuit with Coinlab. Fact #3: MTGOX delays on fiat went on for months. Fact #4: They were exceptionally quiet about #2. This ^ was what I based the prediction on. Eventually a ponzi has to end. At the time I didn't believe they had all the funds as you can wire them $100,000 or more in a reasonable amount of time but trying to get that same amount out takes MONTHS.
