Title: Set a max quote limit, it's annoying to read 20 quotes and hard to edit as well Post by: sickhouse on February 22, 2014, 02:11:25 AM As topic says, this quotation-spam is annoying and I am sure many people agree with me. The largest Swedish forum has a limit so you only see one quote instead of several, https://i.imgur.com/wyl3i0F.jpg link to show you in case you don't understand what I mean.

So either you see no quotes or all quotes? That's pretty crap tbh, this forum is huge. I'd be ready to donate to get rid of those multiquotes... And I am poor as shit.Title: Re: Set a max quote limit, it's annoying to read 20 quotes and hard to edit as well Post by: Automatic on February 22, 2014, 07:57:38 AM It's actually an option in SMF, there's no limit though, it's either on or off. I usually delete the earlier quoted messages if they're not really needed and just leave the last two or three intact.

I usually delete the earlier quoted messages if they're not really needed and just leave the last two or three intact. I used to be able to do that with ease but since the other forum changed to the better I've forgotten what to remove and what to keep :/EDIT: But it didn't take long to learn again :) |
