Well, for a long time, trading unlisted tokens is almost impossible. However, with the recent development of decentralized exchanges (DEXs), things have become a little bit easier. A new decentralized exchange called LedgerDex (https://www.ledgerdex.com/) allows users to add and trade ANY ERC20 tokens (including ICO tokens, airdrop tokens etc.). Using DEXs are easier and safer. For example, at LedgerDex, there's no need to register an account, no need to deposit your funds to the exchange. Anybody can add ANY ERC20 tokens can can start trading right away.
