ATH price of Bitocoin was 19934 USD at 17/12/2018. Can this year it will cross ATH .

What is your opinion about this ???

That's anybody's guess. IMO, depending on a number of factors, bitcoin could reach a new ATH at the beginning of 2019. But with these huge imbalances between supply and demand, you can never be sure. What one can be sure of, is that bitcoin (as a store of value), will continue to attract investors and capital. This means that in the long run, bitcoin will grow several orders of magnitude over the 2018's ATH. Even many financial experts are bullish when it comes to this long term future of bitcoin. They speak of price predictions in the range between $100,000 and $1,000,000 within the next couple of decades.

I always thought that the price of bitcoin would peak at $ 35,000 by the end of 2018, and I really believe it will happen.

For this year I did not think that I would get an extraordinary price like last year, it was too early to talk about it in a situation that is still unclear, next year it might reach ATH in accordance with most people's predictions, most of us don't really believe the market when this is a lot of risk manipulation that happened yesterday pumping, early 2019 is hope for everyone so from now on they save more Bitcoin at a very cheap price, I hope this will continue to increase until next year.

If Bitcoin did a extraordinary price rally in one month last December 2017 I think it is achievable but do you really see a pattern here? No simply mirroring what you think the next movement will from last year's priced is ridiculous and obviously not that accurate. I am saying it is possible but it most likely won't happen especially when you are targeting a price greater than its ATH which we are obviously way below it from now. BTC doesn't look anywhere bullish as of the moment and I don't think we will be in a bullish market soon.

Bitcoin reached that high due to CME hype and FOMO'ers.
and the price greatly reduced from those point until today,so i assume it's totally hard for Bitcoin to reach that high without a hype.
well,right now we are hearing about ETF rumour.
it might reach that high or even higher than that if Bitcoin gets approved by them,but it won't last long because the price will be reduced into this point or around that.

This is impossible. We are in the bear market until early 2020. Next year , we might see Bitcoin to tap 4k or 3k. After the market. Month of May 2020. Bitcoin will go up and no body could stop BTC.

Again, as I have said in previous thread. I don't think that we can hit all-time-high this year because there's no catalyst that will push the price to that level. The only thing that I can think of that will have some bearing is the Bitcoin ETF, but we still don't know if we will get a positive result. A disapproval with be another setback to all of us and will continue this bear market up to the end of the year. So we need to adjust on the current market sentiments and don't let our emotions dictate what we are doing to do if we don't get to new all-time-high that we all been hoping for.

Let us go to the fortune teller and maybe she knew if it could happen.

Cmon! That is too much to ask. Create your own summary of what could happen this year. Do not just rely on people telling you this and that for they may also be FUD or just a big lie.
For you to be added to those victims who will make a pump. After that, you will be shocked it is down again. Those who told you to buy are already selling.  ;D

There is a small chance for that. If the SEC approves one of the Bitcoin ETF proposals by September, then there is a good chance that another pump may happen in the market. But I am not sure whether it can result in ATH.

Maybe end of 2019 it can be higher than ath I don't really think it will happen quickly as you can see people making such predictions but btc still very close to $6000  :)

Seeing the market conditions I can confidently tell that it!won't cross the ATH. The maximum price we can see will be around $15000 if my calculation is correct. As market is not ale to get stable when ever it is trying to to up their is a selling pressure.

not sure about 2018 (too many salty bagholdlers who bought the top at 20k), but in 2019 why not

I believe it can although I dont have the facts to prove it.
It is just the faith in it that tells me it will go that way.

Maybe that ATH is already letting us view of what could happen in the future. If it does then why not. I believe there will be more investors to come and demand will grow too much giving more value to BTC.

ETF news and we will start pump like in december. But im not aiming for 2017 ATH to happend in 2018. I'm aiming 10x 2017 ATH in 2020 :).

The chances of bitcoin crossing the ATH this year are very slim and are close to nil. So if anyone is thinking of investing in bitcoin for the sole purpose of getting the 2x return by the end of this year then they are completely wrong about it as they are understanding bitcoin completely wrong and it presumed that bitcoin will never make you loose in the long run but if you invest in it for a short term then you shouldn't do because of its very volatile nature.

Yes, it is possible, but everything will depend on the events that will occur in August. The bitcoin will reach its former values only if the ETF is approved.

I think you should stop being over possessive about the whole thing mate. Bitcoin is currency and an asset (theoretically) and its being used that way. Give it a time to surpass the limits that are getting imposed these days due to XYZ reasons. This process sometimes can take huge time and sometimes it could be easy go. Last year it was because of the Japan good news, Fortune company investing huge into it etc. This year however everything was opposite to that and we saw many hacks rather than countries accepting the coins etc. So lets wait and watch for the right time of bitcoin. Asking question like this is always unpredictable job.

I think people need to be realistic (including me) The chance to see the Bitcoin price above $20,000 in 6 months is near to zero. The good news published here and there will largely not be enough. Even if the Federal Reserve and the European Central Bank published a press release to say how bitcoin is so great for the economy worldwide I doubt we will see an ATH. Maybe it could be done by hiring a marabout or a witch, but I don't know any.

it will all depend on what will happen after 10th of August , Right now ,it doesn't seem good as there's a huge dump again and it's returning to the bearish trend . if good news came on 10th , then we will see a huge pump followed by a FOMO phase like the one happened last year and only then we can pass the former ATH.

It seems to me that this year we will not repeat the scenario of last year and we will not even go to the ATH. It would not be bad if bitcoin was fixed above 13-15k

I don't expect the price to get to ATH this year. The expectations are very high but from what I'm seeing, bitcoin is really performing below the push it is having from adoptions and exchange 2FA and NYC yet, no major gains.

I think it would be hard to any other coins to surpass bitcoin in any ways. Bitcoin will remain on top and no one can replace it because it has passed all the tests of time and it has a achieved a lot already. It's value is higher than any coins which is hard to attain. The trust of people is also in bitcoin for years.

Many supposed experts have this believe but am yet to see where they are coming from. I do not see this happening this year. The market is suffering from manipulation and this is reducing confidence of investors.

I hope so, we will wait for that and I'm so excited for that to happen. In this December or January maybe bitcoin will reach another ATH price. Many Bitcoiners are regretting that they not holding some bitcoin at a low price before. So for now, its time to forget the past, concentrate in the present and focus in the future that bitcoin price will get a new ATH.

This is a good idea. Those who buy at ATH and keep those tokens will eventually be able to get back money. If you look at what happened during crash days yesterday and the day before, victims have recovered their money.

I dont see bitcoin coming back up anytime soon i only see more downtrend yet to come in terms of price analysis i thought the recent bullish run will be a sign of recovery for bitcoin but i was wrong this year may not be so good for bitcoin because of to many price manipulation by a group cartels or so called whales.

We have started noticing the market value of bitcoin started rising higher and that too after a lot of time but still I don’t think so that it will be possible for bitcoin to have this much huge market value in just 4 months. All we can hope to see the market value of bitcoin getting over 15k $ by the end of this year as this much value is also good enough to have some good hopes from bitcoin.

Technically, its possible, but the possibility is next to 0. Why? Its because we don't have any catalyst for one, and even if we have, it's not enough to push the price to a new all-time-high. In order to bump the price to $20K levels, we have to make the price 2.5x at least and its not happening. Where are we going to get that money anyways? Investors are reluctant because of the bear market and newbie money is burned already.
