I can understand what you are afraid of, by declining the value of the assets that you have now because the price of bitcoin is falling. it's better if you sell assets that don't have good prospects, while there is still a price because I think recovery takes a long time

There is always a possibility altcoin will be recover, but there is also a possibility it will not which isn't likely will happen. Lot of people also facing same problem like yours, their portofolio is down but they still believe if it will be recover someday

it differs from coin to coin.
if a coin's cycle is over, i do not think that they will recover as expected, i am trying new coins with full of news.

altc recovered takes a very long time and not only 1 year or 2 years. because currently a lot of new coins are emerging and crypto is currently limited in several countries. that is the same as increasing market supply and decreasing interest.

like the other people said, you need to hold your coin and don't despair because the altcoin price will increase later although you need to wait for a long time. maybe if you still have balance, you can buy more one by one of your coins and I think it will reduce your buy average price so you don't have to wait for a long time to sell if the price can increase in one level. Hard to say. Some great projects have the opportinity to be something great, but most of the altcoins are declining or dieing.

Almost all altcoins experience the worst times of the year, especially in recent months, in my opinion not all altcoins are able to rise from this downturn, only a few and only the strongest are able to rise, and the rest will die. So you must be able to choose altcoins that are able to rise.

Hold your coins,  there is hope. Crypto is passing through a normal process now and it will surely recover.

Sorry thar you invested to that coin that was hyped before. You should learn from that coin when its quite new the hype real but remember that hype isn't lasting for a very long time. You can still recover if you invested to bitcoin and just hold it for better. Lesson that you learned, dont sell too much bitcoin for an altcoin.

I think we'll start to come good by the end of the year. Maybe September  Trading and transaction volume is SUPER low at the moment, and the price seems to be range bound, which is probably a good sign because it shows the selling is pretty much exhausted.

I'm pretty sure altcoins will recover again but that would be the altcoins with real value. Mostly altcoins in the top 100 will recover because of popularity and support of their community.Others on the top 20 will be back up because they are pioneer and gain more trust already.

Random alts pumping give the false impression that we are in Dec 17 again. But the hard truth is we lost more than a 100 billion in mkt cap over the past month.

I think that little pumps will come for sure, the biggest pump which could take place in 2019 or even later will not be common to that from 2017 but it will bring as a lot of hope again for me.
