Title: Which altcoin to buy?
Post by: erickkyut on August 05, 2018, 03:02:42 AM
The market now is bearish again and all of the coins are in bloodbath. I believe that this month will be the last dip for this year. I'm planning to buy some altcoin. Just want to get some advicr on which altcoin to buy? What do you think which altcoin will soar high after this bloodbath and why?

Here's my humble opinion:

Now that the market is currently on a bear trend, NEO at EOS is a good choice. EOS just launched their MainNet-chain, and gain such support to the community, and NEO, has a good chain also.

Maybe you should consider Monaco Coin, it comes with lots of application and an exchange too.

I think the only coin that has a shot to be number #1 is IOTA so that's the one I would recommend.  Not sure it will reach Bitcoin on the next cycle up but within a few years I think it has a shot. I also like Monero at these basement prices.

I prefer to invest in the etherium, he can soon make iksi. After all, now it costs $ 400, and it cost $ 1,400, by the end of the year he must return to his positions.

I think EOS, ETH and ADA are the best choices. ;D
Because all three tokens are excellent tokens, there are enough supporters and enough transactions.

But, somehow, people who are traded almost of all altcoins that is currently visible, will be following up the bitcoin trends for whatsoever.

I like to invest in ETH and NEO because they are strong alcoin and big communities. Moreover, they have the potential both in technology and application. I believe it is very valuable in the future

Wait for the last dip of this year till August 14th-15th then research for strong projects and go for it, I recommend CryptalDash (CRD), IOTA, MMO, KIN & StakecubeCoin (SCC).

The best choice is ETH if you want to invest right now. The price of ETH is going down continuously and ETH have the potential to grow after this dull phase.
Other options to consider are XRP, LTC, EOS and AE. These coins also have potential to go to moon.

I don't think it's a good idea to invest in only one altcoin. It's best to choose a few altcoins (I try to invest in 5 to 10 at the same time) to spread the risk. It's definitely a good idea to invest in Ethereum and a few top 20 coins, for example COSMOS (ATOM) or Cardano (ADA). In my opinion, it is also good to invest in new metaverse and NFT projects, such as Victoria VR or Lunaverse.

the market is currently on the rise it has been two day and almost all altcoins are shining again ,well ethereum solana cosmos has the best potential but I would not recommend other altcoins that have high risk and OP should research it yourself because the money you invest is your money !

The subject has been brought up very well. I looked at the previous answers. So I looked at the answers given since 2018. Except for ETH, no constructive token has come. This shows us that the cryptocurrency market evolves very easily and very easily, and it shifts to different areas at once. Therefore, being constantly active while investing in this technology shows that we have to constantly follow this market and constantly monitor investments. In the period when this issue was opened, the crypto money continued to be monotonous. Later, defi evolved into nft, metaverse and various other exchanges. Do not make these investments by asking this way. You can understand very well what I mean by looking at the answers given since the date the subject was opened and the market today.

Judging from the year you wrote this post, 2018 should have been at that time many recommended ETH as an altcoin that must be in the portfolio and it's proven now ETH is soaring  This is high when compared to the price of ETH in 2018. This is evident that the must-have altcoin in our investment portfolio is ETH.

During that time ETH plunged to less than $100, it would have been the time when an investor who looks forward to making a profit has bought hundreds of ETH. Thats not possible right now even if you have $10K intended for crypto investment. What you could have are some other altcoins that also have the chance to make it like ETH.

There are several of them. Although we couldn't really point out exactly which will eventually get there, all of them I think will have a good price at least. SOL, BNB, AVAX, ADA and MATIC.

With such an amount, it is possible to invest prospectively in all the altcoins that you have listed. But I would prefer Matic, because it has a lot of potential for further development. And at the moment, he again began to rise in price, judging by the chart.

Those coins are a good list besides ETH. If people think that some coins' coins are too high, they can focus on buying ADA and Matic as the price is still at a low price. Actually, many good coins are in the market but we do not know which coins will be good on buying and in this situation, all coins will have the chance to rise.

It needs more research to find the right coins, but maybe he can stick to the top 100 coins lists so he does not have to feel difficult to select the coins. Maybe he can also look at CRO, ALGO, TRX because my target coin to buy now is a coin that still has a low price of less than $5-$10.

Today I invested around $ 400 to buy Matic and Cro, these 2 coins made me optimistic that in 2022 could rise at least 10x and will continue to increase because of the support of large companies that continue to develop CRO and Matic. Moreover, cro campaigned on top events such as NBA, UFC and so on.

I just want you quote this post so others can learn from this, no altcoin;s guarantee to be profitable in the coming years. Everytime you invest in an altcoin you are taking a risk therefore do not just depend on others opinion. Do your research before investing in any coins.

This two projects were top of the charts years back but today they are not doing so great and either people money has been static or lost alot of money because of investing in this project. Do not invest because some body said it is a good investment.

Yes matic or polygon now is one of good potential asset. Plus many projects are using their protocol due to their fast transaction and low gas fee. For me its one of good choice together with luna, ftm and avax. These four are really good projects for L1 choices. Not sure if its worth it to invest with eth right now as there are plenty of other choices to some good projects that are likely have more potential to increase.

as if he can turn back time to follow your advise  ;D

If i were to answer now? since we are also in bearishness of market? i think it is practical to buy Binance coin , because this is the safer and the most promising of all coins existed after bitcoin.

If you only look at the graph, then all coins have also experienced an increase, such as Cardano, BNB, ETH and also Bitcoin although Matic also experienced it and now they are all down again, maybe this also has an effect on Bitcoin's decline because I see them Simultaneously also experienced a decline in the market.

Very limited people talk about NEO this days I'm glad someone finally did it means you can see it's full potential, NEO is one of my favourite top ALTCOINS since 2017 and it's the perfect altcoin I use for trading, so far things seem quite with NEO but I'm sure something better is cooking up already

but in general, matic is indeed worth investing in, for altcoins, I still hold on to ethereum, where ethereum seems to have an influence on other altcoins. while matic is currently experiencing development with its network which is starting to be needed by many people, so that it has a real product and has a good future

But first, have you check the date you quoted? The year was on 2018 and it was not this days but even though neo isn't the talk of the town, neo still shows its worth and lately the coin was showing some impressive gains. It was when 2018 when the guy introduced the coin but how much more now? Neo have got stronger and better.

Eos is also a good coin apart from neo but eos is more on the main stream now. We can see how the coin became successful, starting from the launch of main net on 2018 and now 2022 as one of the top altcoins that being considered by most traders and investors. It was the undervalued altcoins that are now doing great these days.

It's a good topic explaining that we just have to follow the trends. Some of the suggestions made in 2018 are the coins with the worst performance in the market today (They didn't give what was expected; NEO, EOS etc.). The market is constantly evolving. It is changing. Respectively; After Defi, NFT, P2E, Metaverse projects, now Web 3.0 projects are on the rise. Tomorrow another sector will rise. It is necessary to buy altcoins by following the trends.

Although projects like neo and eos received huge investments, they could not develop themselves at all, yes you are right, they were very uninspired, I don't think they will be very active in this rising season. Web 3 seems to continue to be an emerging trend, but also the need for me, the need will be an inevitable occurrence in it. I am impatiently following the evolutions of these defi, nft, metaverse technologies you mentioned.

EOS and NEO made some nice records in terms of price, but they couldn't hold it, so they sink after that and since that point, I am looking at them recovering, but not so successful if I may add! Even both of them got a lot of money from their investors they couldn't do much on the global stage, now I rarely see someone talks about both of them!
I had NEO for a long time on staking in their wallet, receiving gas, but I sold everything a few months ago, I think there are better projects to invest in! Just my two cents, maybe I made a mistake!

I do not believe that their problem was that they were not good enough, it was that they did not catch up with the times. Right now the crypto world is so beyond them but they were the biggest names for a while. EOS for example got rated highest and best in blockchain for a while, early when they actually did something, so it is not that they are bad, they were never bad. The problem is we have so many new projects which are much better and EOS never improved itself.

This is the key to most projects fall, if you do not improve with the times then you are not going to be at a high level, only bitcoin could stay the same and still be ranked higher and even bitcoin is improving their blockchain to make it as cheap as possible, still not cheap but at least it is trying. This is why NEO and EOS could still get super popular only if they improved, but as it seems, they won't.

I still believe that after the big correction from December, that's when the market reconfirms the trend and the opportunities for altcoins are still very fertile.
Metaverse is positioning its hot, defi will be a bigger game. Just dip one in there.
SLP seems to be a bargain after the re-deflation mechanism is built. But PYR is a plus for me.

From the current state of the market, no one can say for sure when. In fact many times the hype pumps a lot of tokens. For example, if elonmask posts with a token, it pumps it immediately. It also dumps. But no one sees about the token. So if someone buys a token, they will take a good look at it. You can buy some tokens like SLP, Ada, TLM. SLP is good so you can buy it.

this thread was created in august 2018 and at that time there was a very big bear market and caused the price of bitcoin and many altcoins to drop drastically. If at that time you invested in a large altcoin like ETH surely by now you would have made a lot of profit because the price of ETH at that time was not more than $500. investing in CMC's top 20 altcoins is the safest investment because they have a large number of users and a very large daily volume.

Now a new giant token is called Qurayshi.  The e-token is unofficially listed on Pancake Swaap.  Unofficially, the price is currently very high.  This token is bringing their own exchanger. When it is listed on the exchanger, the price of this token may be double what it is now because they will have their own exchanger listed.  So they never want the value of their token to be low so you can keep it. Thank you.

Of course, there are many choices of coins that we can buy, especially today the market is growing positively because the price of bitcoin and ETH continues to rise, some of the coins I have bought are Cardano and Shiba Inu, I hope the positive trend will continue so that I can return the money lost from December.

Each trader evaluates the current state of the market in his own way and not everyone agrees that the market has turned around. And if we are now watching a correction before a further decline, then we should leave some of the stablecoins to buy altcoins at a lower price.

I had heard before of leaving all stablecoins, and it is not a bad idea, especially in this market that has high volatility, however I have been thinking and that the direction of the market is focusing on metaverses, and some tokens that They have something to do with its projects, although in my opinion the currencies that will always leave profits are both BTC and ETH, since they are very safe currencies and when BTC rises, ETH rises as a good percentage of profit. For now there are coins that are highly sought after, such as Solana, Matic, supposedly for having a great possibility of development in the metaverses.
