Title: Bitcoin Mainstream adoption [NEW] Post by: highflyer235 on August 05, 2018, 06:15:45 AM BTC has huge potential but getting lot of resistance from mainstream. Everyone knows banks and global politics are biggest obstacles.
As BTC believer we should forget all different groups like different developer communities/forks/mining pools etc and join hands to change mainstream mindsets. We can focus on how to make win win model for mainstream and crypto space. How we can boycott scammers? How we can help each other to build platform for beginners who are coming from mainstream. Let's make BTC as global mainstream currency. Title: Re: Bitcoin Mainstream adoption [NEW] Post by: MadGamer on August 05, 2018, 09:22:03 AM We should spread knowledge, everything else is secondary because If beginners understand how bitcoin works they'll be protected from scams, they will no longer store their funds in exchanges etc. we would avoid a lot of losses. If they don't however, you'll find them blaming bitcoin for their mistakes and leaving the bitcoin scene and that's not something we want.
Title: Re: Bitcoin Mainstream adoption [NEW] Post by: LeGaulois on August 05, 2018, 03:44:19 PM There is nothing to be gained since Bitcoin (cryptos generally speaking) is considered an investment by the community, so there is no race or battle against the traditional currencies. This could have been the case at the beginning of Bitcoin but no more now. People are not really interested in seeing the cryptocurrency adopted massively, they are just interested in their investment. No problem if it stays on the web and their account on their exchange platform. Cryptocurrency and currency are both different products
