Title: How to calculate miner's fees? Googled info only confused me more! Thanks! Post by: miragecash on February 23, 2014, 12:48:59 AM OK, I googled it and the internets said that there is a 0.0001 BTC fee per 1000 bytes. However, how many bitcoins are in a byte? Electrum asks me to type in a fee but doesn't tell me how much to type in. So I typed in a 0.0001 BTC fee, hit "enter" and crossed my fingers. Someone please tell me the fee schedule of BTC charged per BTC sent through. Thanks.
