Title: Is Cryptsy a scam? Post by: Wolfinspace on February 23, 2014, 07:03:48 AM I am new to mining and have worked with a few different exchanges. My experience with Cryptsy has been bad. It has taken most of my deposits 3-10 days to show up. Is this normal for this exchange? I still have a few pending deposits that have been waiting days but at this point I am thinking they are a scam.

I used cryptsy many times and without any trouble. I've read about some, but most of them were solved soon. Confirmation period variates with coins and amount. But days? Post by: MicroCC on February 23, 2014, 10:58:43 PM They practice insider trading, they freeze funds of its users sometimes while a certain coins are being massively dumped and then when the dump is over and the price has plummeted then vooolaaa you get access to your coins again

Post by: NibiruPool on February 24, 2014, 05:52:56 AM Cryptsy has been having a few problems lately I've noticed with my account, But everything has cleared up either on its own or a simple e-mail to support and they where prompt at fixing my issues... They are a great exchange, But like any exchange NEVER keep your coins in the exchange. Only use the exchange for trading and dump the money back into an offline wallet on your computer. That way a 17 y/old kid cant hack your account and take all your coins that you worked so hard for lol ;D

Overall it's working good, but every now and then deposits take long time to process.
