Title: [Discussion] New Token/Coin gonna dump ?
Post by: CriBon99 on August 06, 2018, 02:23:00 AM
Hello , i have little question which until i write this small thread, i havenot found a satisfying answer.
My question is, why every new token/coin the new listing in market exchange, the price tends to go down every day. I know not all new coins are like that, but most of the coins are mostly goes down after a few days listing on some exchangers.
I will respectfully with your answers and explain.

It will pump in a short time when many people intend to buy, and then dumb if no one more buy it.
I think it depend on coin holder and trend of the market

That's due to the batch of investors, bounty hunters and anyone that holds that token has already planned to dump that coin when it's listed on an exchange.

This is the normal scene that you'll see when a new coin was released and once it's being traded, it can be the first scene but if it really has some potential. Early sellers will regret it because in the latter the price of that coin will increase.

Now is a bad time for growth. Therefore, the price goes down after the ICO. Only TOP projects are growing. Now it is even more profitable to participate in the ICO? and pick up a coin at the time of the fall at the bottom and wait for growth.

I don't think so :). If project behind new token/coin is good enough so it'll make price of new token/coin go to the moon :). For example, NKN and QKC are 2 new tokens listed on exchange right in the downtrend but price of these tokens still go to the moon right after listed :). New or old is not the main problem :).

The price of the token on the exchange, in fact, does not depend on the price of ico. the price of a token depends on its demand

This is a very common problem! but with an exit but normal exchanges such as binance keep the rate more stable!

Because bounty hunters and investors have panic sell it when they are listed. With the current market going down. The main trend is altcoin moving to Bitcoin. So the new token or coin thing gets impacted and falls down

Marketplace value of the coins is define with the demand and supply on the marketplace. I see the marketplace growth is not going forward as expected from the past one week hence I suggest you to have the token bounty in ERC20 platform. Those coins are really to hold with the security.
I love to hold the bitcoin and tokens but the potential token only dude.

When a coin is being listed in a major exchange like binance there is a sudden pump in the price but its only for short time ,ypu should be  selling your coins at that moment.

I known binance is big market. And the price of a coin is very fluctuative and change fast. So we should take the moment when it pump.

Because bounty hunters and investors have panic sell it when they are listed. With the current market going down. The main trend is altcoin moving to Bitcoin. So the new token or coin thing gets impacted and falls down

the most of bounty hunters is only hit and run. In other word, when they got the token and that token have been listed on exchange, they will hurry to sell it. Is that wrong?

I don't think so :). If project behind new token/coin is good enough so it'll make price of new token/coin go to the moon :). I wonder how the developers that token do that?
I mean their strategy to make these coin go to the moon

yes maybe that can happen because the buyer of the coin / token is very little from the token seller. so maybe u get best token the price will to the moon.

This is usually the case when ico's new coin goes into the market, it is possible that the cause usually occurs because the coins from the bounty hunter community who get prizes from the prize campaign immediately sell it below the ico price while the buyers on the exchange are less than those sold.

Because of downtrend, the whales and some other reasons. But I think the main reason because of the project behind each token. If a project wanna pump their token price, they need to publish so many news good event that can attract investors and traders to buy token like airdrop or coin burning,....but seem like new project at the moment only care about developing their project but don't care about feeling of investors. LOL.

Today, all ICOs give huge bonuses and discounts when buying tokens. There are also private sales, pre-sales and only then public sales. At each stage, the price is artificially raised and when the coins go to the exchange, early investors sell tokens and their price becomes lower than on the public sale.

Well, not all tokens do it in the first place, but 90% for sure, and secondly, the whole market is dump. Good when a token on the exchange is trading around the price ICO, no one promised token price growth.

the price of the token drops due to selling by the token holder, and at least
buyer, because the token is not attractive to investors

almost bounty hunters doing that, right?
Only minority person who keep hold the token untill the price go to the moon

Everything could happened in cryptoworld, some coin gonna dump and some coin growing up so fast

Lol

If I understood your question correctly, I will answer. When the coin is listed, the price is much higher than the one that was on the ICO, respectively, investors and bounty hunters sell their coins to get the maximum profit from the money invested. Who will sell first, and he will receive more profit. If the ICO team is able to attract new investors to its products, the price can rise even higher, but only in a month or two.

If those tokens are useful for many people, they buy them too much. The token's prize will go up someday.

Every new coin will have growth and there will be changes based on the publisher, manager, and investor that have collapsed or spiked based on the elements on a new coin but they are good at If you smoke, they will hit the shelves and quickly be welcomed by investors
