Title: Multibit Bitcoin Transfer Help Post by: avenged on February 23, 2014, 10:25:21 AM Hi all,
I have recently purchased some bitcoin, and transferred it to a multibit wallet. I am now trying to transfer the amount from there to another account, however when I do this I get an error: "There are not enough bitcoin funds in this wallet to send Note you can only spend confirmed transactions Remember that the sender pays a fee" I am trying to shift my full amount 0.944132, I assume a fee just comes out of this amount once I have made the transaction...is this not correct? The amount has been fully confirmed as well. I've read a couple of other users having problems, and users have posted it could be that the amounts are lots of small amounts, not sure if this is the case? The transaction ID from Block Chain is: c24969c756fdd0258b5eb7a4de187532891917359de4263a94336f74c21281df. Would really appreciate any help, as it's pretty frustrating not being able to access your money... Thanks in advance Title: Re: Multibit Bitcoin Transfer Help Post by: Wusolini on February 23, 2014, 10:37:57 AM Hi,
fees are paid by sender. And because fee variates it's not smart to deduct fee from payment itself. (you wouldn't know how much you realy sent) Therefore it's deducted from balance. try to lower transfered amount.
