Now the bad, MuPool was my pool of choice for the last month and a half. Last week as most of us already know, DOGE blockchain has changed to ver. 1.6 and all of the pools had to update the protocol too. Guess what, MuPool.com missed that and me and my friends have been mining in vain for over a couple of days, now having the coins that will never get confirmed over the network.

We have contacted customer support via contact form and live chat - no answer, guys obviously know they screwed things up and neither want to confirm that nor address the issue.  I'm saying Bye to this pool and will advise all my fellow miners to do so as well!

It seems their BTC pool hashrate is down to 1.721 TH/s.  I assume this means that the pool is never going to find a block/no payouts will ever happen right?

Hey,

Yeah our hashrate isnt the best on BTC. Anyways currently we running at ~3,5TH/sek which means about 2 Month for a Block.
PS: All Doge coin problems are solved..

Depends on the difficulty, about 1-3 Month.

Update:
We finally found our first BTC-Block ! Thanks for your trust in MuPool.com :)

We hope some of the miners out there will switch to MuPool.com, we are running currently one of the lowest fee pools on the net!

That would be a bad move ..

Why we dont do this?
Well we spent a long time to create custom software (multi coin software, queue cloud system, android app and so on..), to bring a stable pool in the long run.

we had an backend issue, which lead to unconnectable workers especially when you created a new account in the past days. We fixed this issue, if you tried to connect to our servers and were not possible to connect, please try again!

After a short p2pool experiment I returned to mupool on Saturday and found the hashrate creeping at 3.5 TH/s. I have hired some heavy metal on leaserig.net to squeeze out the next (maybe the last) BTC block on mupool before diff goes up next Sunday. I am pushing the hashrate to 25 TH/s, but cannot keep this up forever, else it starts to get one of my more expensive hobbies.  ::)
So any hashing power would be greatly appreciated! Warm up your rigs and point them to mupool, at least until Saturday.  ;)

Prost, Stephan

PS: hopefully the next block will not get orphaned, so cross fingers!!!

Hey Scratchy-

Big THANKS! for adding DarkCoin.  I've pointed my meager setup (2x 280x) + an HD7870, and a few CPUs, and am cranking along at a little over 5mh/s.  On the BTC side, I've got about 65GH pointed there.  We found two BTC blocks in short order - way lucky.

Notable is that you can mine this coin with a CPU with fairly good performance - i5 @3.4GH is giving over 300kh/s, and my Xeon at work(3GH, 6 core) is doing about the same.  Even an AMD FX4100 is producing over 100kh/s.  Plus your GPUs consume considerably less electricity.  That adds profit and reduces heat production!

If you haven't checked out MuPool, you really should.  It has a cool, intuitive interface and much effort has been put into making it a bit unique.  Scratchy is responsive to requests, seems to always be "on guard", and reacts quickly to needed action.  Check it out!

See ya,

Rick

Thanks Rick for your positive feedback :).

Also i would like to point to bicmac at this thread, he helped us to investigate and solve an issue which lead to wrong calculation on BTC payouts.

He honestly helped us to solve this problem even if he had a financial los due to this, thank you in name of all BTC-miners on MuPool.com !
