Title: Weak keys, say x=5, y=6
Post by: doof on February 24, 2014, 02:13:48 AM
I didn't want to hijack this tread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=287146.0.   Im catching up on ec multiplication now.  I didn't do EC at uni and its a while since I've done discrete maths.

but if the public key is week, say x =5 and y = 5, can the private key be derived easily?
