Miners get rewarded with 50 new Detacoins per block, an amount which gets halved roughly every 60,000 blocks. Detacoin has a total supply of 100million coins, which allows for better stability and decrease in fluctuation price. Detacoin will also show low deflation, and high inflation, as shown in Bitcoin, thought it will improve upon Bitcoin's lack of stability on the exchanges. Detacoin can also be mined with CPU's and GPU's, but is ASCIC resistant, improving again upon Bitcoin.
