FAQ:
What are ponzi sites?
Ponzi sites are a kind of gamling sites that uses investor's money to pay more money to others.

I didn't really understand what is a ponzi site. Can you give me an example?
For example:
Investor A invests 1 BTC to the website with 150% Payout
The Website waits until another investor invests at the website.
Investor B invests 0.7 BTC to the website.
The total funds of the site is now 1.7BTC
The site sends 1.5BTC to Investor A and charge a fee which leaves the site's fund to 0.2BTC
The site again waits for another investor.
Investor C invests 0.3 BTC
The site's fund is now 0.5BTC
Investor D Invests 0.55 BTC
The site's fund is now 1.05 BTC
The site gives 1.05BTC to Investor B which leaves 0 BTC for the website balance.
And the loop goes on until no one invest anymore.

Is this method risky?
Yes. It is really risky to invest your BTC in these kind of sites but that guarantees a very high profit when user invests

Great idea, something like this should be stickied so users have a clear idea of what's available without trawling through lots of threads. I would recomend the list is ordered by feedback\review\BTC paid out etc.

I'll confirm PonziCoin's details later as I am making a few changes at the moment ;)

Thank you for the suggestion. I will add feedback\postive-negative review of the sites right now but the suceeding sites must count them manually.

isn't the definition of a ponzi is that you will eventually be scammed?  i'd say they're all on the scam list.

Scam; "a dishonest scheme; a fraud"

Please explain where current ponzi operators are being dishonest? A ponzi labelled as a ponzi is a gamble, nothing more, nothing less. Some win BTCBTCBTC, others lose.

In fact;

"A fraudulent investing scam promising high rates of return with little risk to investors. The Ponzi scheme generates returns for older investors by acquiring new investors. This scam actually yields the promised returns to earlier investors, as long as there are more new investors. These schemes usually collapse on themselves when the new investments stop. "

You could argue that none of the current threads or indeed ponzis as none are "promising" any return, which therefore means they are not dishonest nor deceptive.

i will add the definition of ponzi here in bitcointalk to remove the confusion.

All ponzi sites are scams. You are "betting" or "gambling" on the fact if you will be scammed or not. It's just as much "gambling" as "selling bitcoins for paypal to newbies".. maybe you will get your money and maybe not. (read: it's not gambling, it's hoping to not get scammed)

They really should make subforum for all these ponzi/moneymaking/fake investment/HYIP shit.

But if you want to join them.. its fine to me. JUST DO 1 THING PLEASE PONZI FANS. do NOT join these ponzi with free hosting websites. So anything *.yolasite.com, *.webs.com, *.byethost.com, *.net84.net, *.1ufh.com. If the owner of your so very legitimate "gambling" site cannot even afford some hosting for a few dollar, then DO NOT TRUST IT. These are probably just 1 guy making new accounts and making these sites in a few minutes to run after a few transactions with your money. Do not join them at least (and like I said: IN MY OPINION do not join any ponzi, but up 2 yourself.)

I would like to leave positive feedback about PonziCoin (http://ponzicoin.co.vu/) owner, Vortuarackne (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=253120).

Most trusted and honest ponzi operator I've ever met. First, I sent 3 BTC to his ponzi address by mistake, where maximum allowed deposit amount was 1 BTC. But he approved my transaction and I got these coins back (with interest).
Second time, because of small glitch in software, my 2.6 BTC were sent to wrong address. Again, Vortuarackne was most honest and trustworthy person and he returned my money.
To all people: I can assure you, that Vortuarackne is most trusted ponzi operator on these forums, don't hesitate and invest now :)

I can truly recommend his ponzi website http://ponzicoin.co.vu/. Ponzi is in it's early stage still, and tonight, maybe tomorrow, you should expect guys looots of money coming in!  8)

Their stats which you posted look good, until the bubble bursts (which it has). No one cares if it has paid back 400+ BTC if it cant afford to pay back anything else. That is the important part.

isn't the definition of a ponzi is that you will eventually be scammed?  i'd say they're all on the scam list.

What is a Ponzi scheme?

A Ponzi scheme is an investment fraud that involves the payment of purported returns to existing investors from funds contributed by new investors. Ponzi scheme organizers often solicit new investors by promising to invest funds in opportunities claimed to generate high returns with little or no risk. In many Ponzi schemes, the fraudsters focus on attracting new money to make promised payments to earlier-stage investors to create the false appearance that investors are profiting from a legitimate business.
Why do Ponzi schemes collapse?

With little or no legitimate earnings, Ponzi schemes require a consistent flow of money from new investors to continue. Ponzi schemes tend to collapse when it becomes difficult to recruit new investors or when a large number of investors ask to cash out.
How did Ponzi schemes get their name?

The schemes are named after Charles Ponzi, who duped thousands of New England residents into investing in a postage stamp speculation scheme back in the 1920s. At a time when the annual interest rate for bank accounts was five percent, Ponzi promised investors that he could provide a 50% return in just 90 days. Ponzi initially bought a small number of international mail coupons in support of his scheme, but quickly switched to using incoming funds from new investors to pay purported returns to earlier investors.
What are some Ponzi scheme "red flags"?

Many Ponzi schemes share common characteristics. Look for these warning signs:

High investment returns with little or no risk. Every investment carries some degree of risk, and investments yielding higher returns typically involve more risk. Be highly suspicious of any "guaranteed" investment opportunity.
Overly consistent returns. Investment values tend to go up and down over time, especially those offering potentially high returns. Be suspect of an investment that continues to generate regular, positive returns regardless of overall market conditions.
Unregistered investments. Ponzi schemes typically involve investments that have not been registered with the SEC or with state regulators. Registration is important because it provides investors with access to key information about the company's management, products, services, and finances.
Unlicensed sellers. Federal and state securities laws require investment professionals and their firms to be licensed or registered. Most Ponzi schemes involve unlicensed individuals or unregistered firms.
Secretive and/or complex strategies. Avoiding investments you do not understand, or for which you cannot get complete information, is a good rule of thumb.
Issues with paperwork. Do not accept excuses regarding why you cannot review information about an investment in writing. Also, account statement errors and inconsistencies may be signs that funds are not being invested as promised.
Difficulty receiving payments. Be suspicious if you do not receive a payment or have difficulty cashing out your investment. Keep in mind that Ponzi scheme promoters routinely encourage participants to "roll over" investments and sometimes promise returns offering even higher returns on the amount rolled over.

If you are aware of an investment opportunity that might be a Ponzi scheme, contact the SEC by phone at (800) 732-0330 or submit a tip online at sec.gov/complaint/tipscomplaint.shtml.
What steps can I take to avoid Ponzi schemes and other investment frauds?

Whether you are a first-time investor or have been investing for many years, there are some basic questions you should always ask before you commit your hard-earned money to an investment.

The SEC sees too many investors who might have avoided trouble and losses if they had asked questions from the start and verified the answers with information from independent sources.

When you consider your next investment opportunity, start with these five questions:

    Is the seller licensed?
    Is the investment registered?
How do the risks compare with the potential rewards?
    Do I understand the investment?
Where can I turn for help?

For more information, check out these resources: SEC Enforcement Actions Against Ponzi Schemes; Ponzi Schemes Using Virtual Currencies; Ask Questions; Avoiding Fraud; Affinity Fraud; Social Media and Investing – Avoiding Fraud.
What are some of the similarities and differences between Ponzi and pyramid schemes?

Ponzi and pyramid schemes are closely related because they both involve paying longer-standing members with money from new participants, instead of actual profits from investing or selling products to the public. Here are some common differences:

Pyramid Scheme

Ponzi Scheme

Typical "hook"

Earn high profits by making one payment and finding others to become distributors of a product. The scheme typically does not involve a genuine product. The purported product may not exist or it may be "sold" only to other people who also become distributors.

Earn high investment returns with little or no risk by simply handing over your money; often the investment does not exist or only a small percentage of incoming funds are actually invested.

Payments

Must pay a one-time or recurring participation fee and recruit new distributors to receive payments.

No recruiting necessary to receive payments.

Interaction with original promoter

Sometimes none. New participants may enter the pyramid scheme at different levels.

Promoter generally interacts directly with all participants.

How the scheme works

Funds from new participants are used to pay recruiting commissions to earlier participants.

Funds from new investors are used to pay purported returns to earlier investors.

Collapse

Fast. An exponential increase in the number of participants is required at each level.

May be relatively slow if existing participants reinvest money.

Have you seen VirtaPay? It takes a day or 2 to get paid, but you do. It's technically a ponzi, but they don't really say it is. It's a virtual currency, launching a BTC exchange soon.

Proof: blockchain.info (https://blockchain.info/tx/54b96d62aa6b1d2d06aee59f9ae8481cfa9de4b4372fcf548866be3ba92dfafc)

I cannot consider it as a ponzi. It's an online currency.

I'm interested in Ponzi.ga and ponzimatic.  Anyone have any advice regarding these sites?

Recommendations?  Ponzi.ga doesn't seem to list a minimum deposit.

Basically I am looking for the best ponzi to deposit in with the available BTC I have.

Well, it's your choice whom to invest but I would recommend trusted sites.

The pendings sites are new sites which are also good to invest to because they just started and is having alot of investors. But beware of scams.

I think it is one of the "best" at the moment with btcontracts.org and ponzicoin.co.vu; those 3 can bring a lot of profit : they have been paying, there are still (in the previous hour) big deposits, the backlog is not big and the momentum is here; I redeposited on those 3 and I intend of redepositing again

Thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=487739.0)

115% Payout
5% Fees

Payout is Low due to swiftness of payouts. Might increase it in the even volume of investors pick up
Fee is high, only because I'm doing this by hand.. If was automated and higher volume, I'd lower the fee drastically ^__^

If you have a ponzi site or you want to promote a site and it is not here, just put it reply below and indicate the following information:
Site Name:

I would like to add a positive review for ponzi120 that has paid me a few times with no problem, it has been redistributing from a wallet with 55BTC so it is pretty trustful

The only problem is the manual payout that are pretty slow : 45min to get paid, ponzicoin is way faster but there is less deposits and less momentum there, it could very well change soon

hehe and I see another problem.

People add positive reviews to ponzis.
And they do not think - that at the end someone will lost his money for 100%

This is what PONZI scheme is. Some must be a looser.

So add a positive review to ponzi site - get someone in - we will cry - but who cares?

I so don't like those ponzis.

anyway this is pointless.

So far as people don't see something wrong with ponzis - just people who don't play ponzi see that it is bad.

I am thinking of quiting thinking and posting about ponzis..

There's no way a "company" lying to their "investors" can be considered trusted. There are only ponzis that are paying out, and ones that aren't.

I suggest to do not make any trusted ponzi list.

there is only one "trusted" ponzi as they say you can loose.
Ponzicoin.com

fully agree, Ponzi sites can only be positive for the initial users by definition, so such ranking is not really worth much.
It seems to me more like an advertisement, made by people that are already invested there, to attract new people and thus get their money.

How can a Ponzi be trusted? You are talking about the liars we can trust. that's ridiculous.

The Ponzi that pays you is always run away with your money at the end, maybe you would benefit from the Ponzi, but the later investors pays for this.

A ponzi here is not one that you would commonly think of. Here it is more of a game, hoping that the next person will send and if they dont you will lose your money. The owners not running away with your funds and scamming you, he is simply running the game and if the ponzi is time limited, he takes the funds for profit and resets the game, and it is 100% transparent and no on is calling scam.

It'd be nice if the OP would add links to the ponzi's bitcointalk threads.

Here's the one for Weekly Ponzi: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=918471.0

Though I don't really believe in "ponzi", I like this post and the approach.
It even tries to explain - to the few that actually read that - what would a "honest" ponzi operator do.
And in those term, it would be indeed "honest". But, as explained, a Ponzi will end, sooner or later, because of the lack of funds.

Now, we also know that most Ponzi operators will just find a best moment - when the funds are high enough - and run, because it's easier and because it's expected (!)
This post is also good to see what Ponzi pyramids are old - i.e. the chances for payout getting low.

Some would like to gamble a little and this info could be useful.
And .. it's marked correctly: it's not investment!

Site Name: The Ponzi Games
Link: http://www.theponzigames.com (http://www.theponzigames.com)
Return: Variable (Currently 135%) - Always declared up front
Fee: Currently 5%, will decrease as volume goes up
Status: Trusted

Just getting off the ground, full specifics will be disclosed when there is something exists to be disclosed...

Currently only has BTC but LTC & DOGE are being developed now.

Game runs until there are no transactions for 24 hours.  Then speed round kicks.  After that, once an hour passes with no transactions, the game ends.

At the end of the game, up to the last 10 players (if they did not get a return) are rolled over to the next game.
