Many speculations saying BTC can go as low as 5k or maybe even less, but nothing for sure, so is now the right time to buy ? or should we wait a bit longer for BTC price drops more ? of course am talking about buying considerably huge amount for the average Joe in $...

I have a strong feeling BTC was not created to settle at low 7k$ and a lot of potentials are yet to come...

As a side question, this part worries me more, say BTC reaches 1 Mil (lets just imagine) and you do have 1 BTC or more, which exchange will actually cash out that much money for you, is it even factual !?...

Nobody will answer this exactly. What can I say is that I did a little bit of study. It is better for you to buy when the price will get lower, like 6-6,5k. It also depends what type of invest do you want to do. Long time holding or short time trading. So, that's it.

You said it yourself. No one knows for sure, even us here, even the expert traders doesn't know with 100% guarantee where the price will go.

If it ever reaches 1 mil, trust me. You wouldn't need to sell it.

And in regards to the OP I personally think btc won't go below (or much below) 6k just my opinion though. And like the previous person said it depends on what you want to do if it is short term trading or long term holding :).

you can trade a bit and when it drops you can buy and accumulate some more

when it's $1M/BTC then possibly bitcoin is the strongest currency
and most likely bitcoin is already accepted and adopted by most countries in the world
so why would you need to exchange it, just use it to buy and pay stuff

I think you are missing the above point.
You think of bitcoin as something with a value in dollars / euro's / etc. The point that was made is that, íf bitcoin reaches 1 million, it probably means that bitcoin has become an accepted currency, therefor there would not be a need to exchange it anymore, you would use it like you would use cash right now.

If not, I'm sure that it will not reach that high of a value without potential buyers, so you won't have to worry about cashing in, if you would really want to.

If you buy a bit every now and then, you do cost averaging which makes it more viable. You also lower your risk. Think long term imo

But maybe it is the side effect of postponed announcement from SEC until September 2018.
And if i want to buy, i will wait maybe 1 week again until the price bitcoin has stable because i think it just temporary effect of postponed SEC.

Just trust your instinct but also look at the stock market. In that you will when to buy and invest.

When the time comes, you're going to be able to transact with the BTC you have even with your local stores. Would already might be pointless to sell it.

Looking at the trend over the years, I can assure you that bitcoin can go lower, but it will surely bounce back stronger. As for the second part of your question, you can always use more than one exchange to sell.

my advice would be to research the coins you are interested in buying and then make a decision on at what price do you feel it's worth buying at.

You don't have to think about it. When bitcoin hits that high prices again, people would love to buy it so these exchanges will keep opening their automatic buy and sell options.

And for your timing of buying, you have that strong feeling and add those positive replies from others. What are you waiting for? $6,400 is a good deal.

When Bitcoin will go below 6k, You buy it. Waiting until 8k, you should sell it. Bitcoin is the strongest currency.

I think no one can tell with confidence when is the best time to invest in bitcoin. Even though there is a guy telling you that it is the best time to buy bitcoin, you have to think twice and do your own research before buying.

If you don't want to invest in the worst time, just don't invest all in a row but set a periodical small investment in different moments.

as for me, taking into account the maximum possible number of coins, the most promising and convenient are Litecoin and DASH.

Looking at recent price trends, you should buy at $6k and sell at $8k.

I’ve been buying in the mid $6,000s and selling in the mid to high $7,000s.  In the last few months it’s been going up and down fairly reliably. I only play with a couple of thousand dollars but it’s nice to get a couple hundred dollars for doing nothing with not a lot of risk. I just bought more at $6200 so I hope I’m not wrong.

As far as I know, when the price of bitcoin reaches the highest price (as expensive as anything is it, or becomes 1mil as you say), I'm sure it is the price agreed upon by the bitcoin holder, or people are willing to spend that kind of money on one bitcoin.

I'm not sure at what level it is safe to sell or buy Bitcoin. Since the cryptocurrency market is still very volatile, you can wait until the end of 2018.

Still, bitcoin is not legalized by a lot of countries, what if i have 10 BTC but i cant cash it out or use it even to buy stuff, this is my concern ATM since BTC hasn't become widely accepted, at least in my country here in the UAE i never saw a BTC ATM, and we have only one registered business as an exchange that's it  ;D I only see more and more miners TBH, and sadly not all exchanges found online are trustworthy and wont deal with international clients for some reason such as coinbase  ???

Am waiting to find a decent exchange to buy from preferably by VISA ;D Since am a newcomer, am thinking to buy 0.43 BTC and HODL, but lets not rush into things  ;D...

Bitcoin once fell below the $7000 bottom line, but I don't think it will fall below $5500. When the price of Bitcoin reaches $5500, I think a lot of purchases can be made!

Yes right Bitcoin has a huge potential to grow huge in future as its all time high is around $20K as of now, and at this time it going around $7K.
Let me tell you one thing that you can buy Bitcoin in an average basis or you can wait for ETF cause if result will positive then price will go far beyond you imagine or if result  will negative then price will dips around $5K or little bit low. So DYOR before investing.

If price will go 1M per Bitcoin then you do not need any exchange to convert into Fiat currency, cause then you can buy anything with Bitcoin. And off-course its possible but we have wait for that day, when half of the world using bitcoin not any fiat.

well the best strategy that made the perfect sense to me is always DCA (Dollar Cost Average) in your buys.

Buy a portion of it whenever you feel that the price has fallen to the dip.
I think the ratio of you being able to predict the dip is so minuscule especially in this bear market. so your best bet is averaging your buy-ins.

As for Bitcoin reaching 1 Mil $, I would really wait for that discussion until that happens.  ;)

You can buy BTC at any point in the market, bear or bull. Your ultimate goal about how you'd use your BTC supersedes the entry point(time you bought BTC). Someone may buy BTC when it sells at 15K or more and trade it regularly to make more profit. Another person could buy BTC at 6K and wait for an increase in price to sell his BTC. The profit depends largely on how people invest their BTC.

This is the perfect time to buy if you believe in crypto currency. All coins are fairly cheap compared to last year. You should be able to HODL for some time to see the return and don't panic.

I think it wont fall till 5 k levels. Bitcoin is still the strongest currency. But you can invest some other strong coins. Especially Neo, Monero and Litecoin are too cheap for now. base on market fluctuation , i will advice technically for you to buy when btc hit $5000 .this is the point when you dont have to be scared and also use stop loss to be at the safe side,because is game  right now either you gain or lose .

isn't bitcoin getting longer time, the less can be mined? and the number of all BTC has also been confirmed to be limited? No one can say about bitcoin and no one can predict bitcoin price so if you feeling you can buy bitcoin now I say this is good time to buy bitcoin and wait for high price

I heard that if btc passes 7000 and fixed above it will be a sign that the wave of growth has begun.
Personally, I bought a bit more alts at btc 6100 because I don't believe that things can go even worse.

It is a great time to buy in. There was just a major correction following a big run so we should be able to hold current value. There are still far more people not invested in any cryptocurrency that will be entering the market in the next few years.

I don't think Bitcoin can fall below $5000, because $5000 is already the mining price of Bitcoin, and many people will buy it before it reaches this price!

If Bit coin reach 100,000$ ,it doesn't matter you buy @ 5000 or 7000 you will get more profit anyway.But every experts saying that BTC will drop near 3k order to complete its market cycle. personally i am believe it & waiting to by below 4K.

Don't measure on how long you have to wait for the profit but just set on how long you are going to hold.

I have lost considerable amount of money going all in on trades. I can imagine I could have saved a lot of money DCAing instead pf buying all in.
Learn form my mistakes if you plan to hold long term it is best to have multiple entry points.

There is no  specific time given to buying or not. If you think you can wait for bitcoin to touch the bottom, then you may be waiting endlessly since nobody knows this. Now is the time for you to invest into cryptocurrencies. Please do your due diligence before investing.

I don't think bitcoin will go down that low. Its value has slowly improved over the past 2 days. My hope and everyone who has held bitcoin is that bitcoin will rise instead of going down even though we can get a low price if we want to buy.
