In my opinion it's mostly good news. If initial regulation makes it's roots stronger and promotes the use of crypto in mainstream than I think it must be welcomed. But yes, regulations must be only to make it safer. Any attempts on making it centralized must be discouraged at any cost.

I think it will bring some good impacts on crypto worlds. As they are legalizing the exchanges it will bring some big investors in the market. Which is really great for the crypto market.

Ofcoarse it is good news, if the country who recognize bitcoin or cryptocurrency they have big help to bitcoin community to grow the price. Because   people will invest if they see the government or any big company support this they trust to bitcoin also.

Negative or postive news is a good news for more publicity and to carry on the hype.. I hope ETFs follow Soon but i believe crypotocurrency and blockchain was intended to be decentralized, centralization should not supported its killing the core reason for decentralization.

South Korea is really doing great for cryptocurrency. Legalizing the exchanges will make them more trustworthy to the people of South Korea. I think it will boost the crypto market.

It’s not that people are not investing at present without their legalization. People are doing it. But I believe it’s more of a government’s effort to control over the market rather than expanding the investment opportunities.

South Korea govt. has officially recognized crypto currencies as regulated financial institutions the same as bank. It is both a good and bad news. In short term, this may have negative impact on both investors and transaction platforms. On the other hand, in long term this sector would lead to the entry of large institutional retailers and investors.

As I read the article, I would rather choose the long run advantage despite of the regulations that may impose by the south korean government. Their government still wants this cryptocurrency industry to grow. They just want to protect their people through regulations and because of this it may come up that it will do good as a whole. We just need some sacrifice to do so like the current price of bitcoin will go down for now.

That's a great news! The financial authority of South Korea has decided to recognise cryptocurrency as an institution. They have decided to make a cryptocurrency exchange and brokerage which will allow the trading platform to operate in larger scale. If I am not wrong it is an old news which was released during early July. Anyways, it is inevitable for all the developed countries to regulate and allow crypto exchanges as they can understand the important role it can play in a country's GDP and further development. Yea, good news as more adoption and usage of bitcoin will be encouraged in that country and the demand will also increase. Then it is a bad news because users will be taxed by the government and this will reduce or remove the anonymity  of bitcoin. So we can say the family lose here and gain there. But it is far more better than outright ban.

I would definitely take it as a good news because this might lead to other countries starting to regulate cryptocurrencies too. Once a country regulates cryptocurrency it means that it has legalized the use of crypto in that country. This could be the gateway for crypto to go mainstream and worldwise use. Even if this does not lead to such a mainstream level it will at least encourage many people to start using cryptocurrencies.

country shouldn't ban cryptocurrency cause this is the digital money in the future, with bitcoin every transaction is safe and your identity is safe to. so in the future will be more safe from transaction with cryptocurrency.

As expected South Korea will be one of the majority who will most likely to adapt crpytocurrencies as they are curious about incoming technology and they are ahead of technology from other countries, they adapt cryptocurrencies since they wanted to be ahead with any incoming information and with knowing that cryptocurrencies has potential it obviously needed some attention, in other countries government won't allow any news that will maximize the relevance of cryptocurrencies since they are political biased and wanted to get attention from people for them to get reelected and to corrupt more money.

Things that are positive in such news are always more effective. If the ETF is approved, it will be officially recognized in the US.

I would rather think that it is a good news because South Korea is not the last country in the world, and their opinion can influence other countries in neighbourhood to follow their attitude and accept same things.

I wonder how the market will affect Korea after the approval of the crypto currency, so to say, not everything is going smoothly.
