Title: BCH transaction size
Post by: CoinSanta on August 08, 2018, 08:06:45 PM
Is there a way to find out the BCH transaction size in bytes so we can estimate the transaction fee needed?

The transactions should be the same size as the bitcoin legacy transactions, that is a 20 byte base transaction size, ~150 bytes for an input and ~40 bytes for an output.

I pulled a random transaction from a block explorer this (https://explorer.bitcoin.com/bch/tx/7baf3ef3b0f5dce3e918f41de5dda68ea3366795d93070c7ee78422b19da0076)
It has 1 input and 2 outputs and is 255 bytes, the expected size for a similar transaction in bitcoin.
