Can you open it up for us and take a picture of the inside with your username next to it? Title: Re: [WTS] Breitling old navitimer from 1991 Post by: guigui371 on March 03, 2014, 04:23:28 PM Can you open it up for us and take a picture of the inside with your username next to it? i can't open it myself sorry i don't have the tool (it is a 'twenty-gonal' tool that is needed). i'll scan the receipt from a "recent" work that has be done on it. And yes i can ask my watchsmith to open it and take a picture, it is not very convenient but can be done. Anyway if serious interest, i can in PM have serious background in the watch collectors to vouch for me and of course escrow will be used Title: Re: [WTS] Breitling old navitimer from 1991 Post by: guigui371 on March 04, 2014, 05:03:26 PM quality of the pictures is not that great.... i thought my nexus 4 could do better in macro ???

We decided to use 2 addresses due to insurance reasons, max value on insurance is 1500 EUR. One is funded for 1875 EUR, one for 375 EUR. I will post my private keys here once I receive the watch in good condition. If it is lost in the mail and a claim is made for 1500 EUR, guigui will receive the 375 address, and I will receive the 1875 address.

The only flaw in the 2 sig transaction without an escrow is that if the buyer was a scamer he could have kept his share of the private key and ask for some BTC to release the private key. (like : give me 1 btc and i release to you the 5btc transaction for the selling). maybe an escrow or a 3 out of 4 sig is a good choice using 2 escrows independent Anyway : TTbit is trusty Watch is sold i'm going to edit the main post regards Title: Re: [WTS] Breitling old navitimer from 1991 5BTC Post by: TTBit on July 15, 2014, 01:45:16 PM I picked up the watch this morning and it is as described. Every transaction is going to have risk. Sending funds to an escrow would have the risk that I claim the package was empty, or the escrow agent just runs off with the money. The watch trade was not going to happen if it came down to one of us sending first. We were able to change the risk parameters so that we both felt comfortable trading. You still need honest people on both sides. |
