Title: Which Casascius coin is more valuable? Full silver or silver/gold Post by: lenkug on February 24, 2014, 06:58:32 PM Casascius minted much less 2013 1btc Silvers with the gold B and rim.
But, the 2013 1btc full Silvers had an initial higher BTC price to buy from Casascius. This was due to Mike dropping the premium as the price of BTC rose. So what do you think? I think the Gold B coins are worth more.

The memory of the initial price discrepancy will be around for a while, which will tend to equilibrium the rarity difference in the short-term. But years down the road, rarity should be the dominant factor since the coins are so similar.
