Title: ETH mining, need help.
Post by: digaran on August 09, 2018, 07:45:20 PM
OK, I have been talking with my family and we have decided to start mining ETH, currently, we have access to cheap electricity and could mine with profit.

Here are what I need:

I need somebody to send me the best GPU cards with discount.
I also need to tell you that I live in Iran.

Amazon and Newegg don't ship to Iran?

Why don't you try your local classified ads? In my opinion, that's one of the better ways to buy a cheaper GPU that hasn't been used much in mining.

Reships/package forwarders are always an option if sites don't ship to you. It'll cost you a bit of money for shipping, of course. You should also be ready to provide documentation in the form of a drivers license or an ID card if you choose to go with this route, as reshippers are currently trying to crack down on reshipping fraud, and GPUs are rather valuable items.

Many reship services don't go to Iran, but I did find that Reship.com (https://www.reship.com/#/) delivers to Iran. I know from experience that they're not the cheapest service while I lived outside the US, but looking around should yield cheaper options if there are any.

Is ETH mining more profitable than Monero? right now I have free electricity, I want to know which coin is best to mine, the best GPUs to mine them.

About the free electricity, I might add that I'm not trying to steal from the government, in my religion, there is a law where you could use free electricity and later pay something to the government from your profit. so I'm not talking about scamming my own government here. lol.

Best GPUs to mine with the most profit and hash rate?
I might seek the help from Philipma or something. ;)

I don't think that Phil or anyone else in the US would want to deal with anything that involves Iran.

Look around on Chinese sites like Alibaba or Taobao, they should be able to deliver. Nvidia 1050Ti or 1070Ti are good, or perhaps AMD 570/580 since your electricity is cheap.

Check whattomine.com to get an idea of profitability.

Depends on the country where you live and how good postage you have there. In some countries, believe me it 100% worths to use package forwarders.
OP no one is going to supply you with cheap GPUs, you have to sit and look for them online, to make this deal easier for you, use this website: https://www.nowinstock.net <-- they update stocks and sometimes you can find gpus in very cheap price.

I checked whattomine and it gives me vega64 as the best option with 40MH/s, while the other cards you suggested have less hashrate. since my electricity is going to cost me almost zero, I'm more interested in finding the best GPU to mine ETH. I think people have a problem with mining because of their electricity fees, they consider other options to ensure the most profit based on their power costs.

1080Ti has 35MH/s and seems to be somewhat better than other cards. what I actually need is to know how I could reach the fastest ROI with "free" electricity? I want to know that.

1080ti will give you 50MH on ETH with the pill.
