Totally crazy having the first statement issued by another company.

But quite in line with Mt.Gox's usual PR skills, I suppose.

API is down and the website is removed (white screen), twitter account deleted...

They moved away in the same manner as they behaved before: As an incompetent bunch of losers.
No idea how they was able to manage that exchange so long.

Oh, I have an idea. Total mis-management by clueless retards who got greedy. Eventually time ran out on them. I won't shed any tears. Mark Karpeles and his cohorts ran away with account holders' money in their pockets. They should be found and shot on sight.

Not shot, but sentenced.
Lawful sentence is the only way to recover at least some BTC.
