I've tried cloning a pre-existing Lyra2REv2 coin like Vertcoin with failure with the runtime and right now me and my team have forked Bitcoin to implement the algorithm change and create a whole new coin from that. What does a coin do without a project behind it? Of course, it is better that you spend your time doing puzzles and crossword puzzles.
