Hello. I need your help and some advices, because I really don’t know the reason of ban, but I understand that moderators did not ban users without some reason.

I read this forum and rules, so I tried not to violate them. May you tell me, please, what did I wrong to avoid such mistakes anymore?

In most cases, the reason for the ban in that thread is plagiarism or evasion from the ban, and all my messages in this forum were just my personal thoughts.

Be aware that you are only allowed to post on this thread. Don't post anywhere else and wait for a reply from a moderator.

Let the mods wait for the real reason why you got banned but you are not required to do another account again and do what you are doing here in the forum. In short, your out of the game.

I don't think that the mods will forgive you. Once you created an illegal thing here, its a goodbye signal to you unless you can defend yourself.

I remember reading a very similar thread here recently.  In that cases also the section was not reversed.

It is clearly mentioned in forum rules that there is permanent ban for posting copied content. Now,  it may appear harsh but the decision is final and irrevedible. You should accept the reality.

that threads was updated after OP created this thread, and nadra_group is not listed there
so it seems he wasn't banned by russian mod but probably by global mod for violation in general forum
the modlog page shows his userid was banned with other 8 users in a row
maybe that gives a clue to what he has been banned for

Thank you for this information. But I still don't understand the reason of my ban in this case, because I have only one post in one topic in general forum and it didn't violate the rules.
In russian forum the same situation - all posts are mine and they didn't violate the rules. So I have no idea what  I could do wrong.

I don't either, though I suspect it's probably plagiarism.  I could be very wrong, but what you ought to know is that apologies and begging will get you absolutely nowhere when you're appealing a ban.  As evidence of that, take a look at the last 100 ban appeals where people screamed that they were sorry; that it wouldn't happen again; that they'd learned their lesson; that they had children to feed; or any other reasons or excuses.  See if those members are still active.

You're either rightfully banned or you're not.  If it turns out to be an error, then the ban will be lifted.  If a mod shows up and proves that you did something wrong, you're done.  Pleas for mercy fall upon deaf ears.

The Pharmacist, may you tell me, please, who of the moderators can tell me the reason of the ban and how can I contact with them?

I'm pretty sure they don't want to be contacted via PM, and I think there's a better chance of one of them stopping by to let you know why you're banned.  In any case, I don't know who banned you so I can't tell you who to contact.  You can bump this thread once per 24 hours, by the way.

I can't comment on whether I banned you or not because I honestly don't know. I probably ban hundreds of users a month and I have personally banned at least 50 users baring the ElonCity signature alone for copy and pasting, but having their signature alone isn't enough to get you a ban nor does the above info you posted mean it was me. If you were banned then it was likely for a good reason and if you copied and pasted someone else's content then that's why. I previously searched your username both in Meta, the report queue and Staff forum and found nothing and I usually only act on information from one of those so I can't help you, but if you did copy and paste another's post or content from another website then that's why you were banned.

The admins can see who banned who, but you probably won't find out the actual reason why that happened unless someone recalls why. It was either a mistake by staff (which will occasionally happen), or you did in fact break some rule. I'll PM theymos about it.

Turns out that it was me who in fact banned you. You wouldn't have been banned for merely being on the Elon city campaign though, so it was either a mistake on my part or you did do something wrong in some capacity but it can't be confirmed either way. I unbanned the account since I can't be sure. If you are completely innocent then I apologise for that.
