Up and downs is normal in bitcoin. no shit. the collapse of an exchange is user incompetance. btc has nothing to do with it. this is a good thing for the ecosystem. it'll filter out the exchanges unfit for volume. and hopfully refine and polish them. we want robust platforms for the long haul. the frenzy is laughable. MtGox was just slowing bitcoin as a "biggest bitcoin exchange"... After this fail people should be able to notice some new players on the market with a high quality service and fast withdrawals.
