Post by: nthere on August 12, 2018, 10:46:24 PM
Hi all,

Which subtopics on Reddit that you are recommending to newbies?
As far as I know, Reddit is a useful resource for the crypto world like this forum.

Thanks!

There are too many subreddits related to crypto n Blockchain, you can join them according to their popularity. But if want to post there u will have to read their terms for posting. Most of popular subreddits don't allow new members to post, so for posting and starting your own topic u should see towards less subscribed subreddits.

https://reddit.com/r/bitcoinbeginners - it's pretty much a subreddit for beginners to ask questions, but you can also learn from the answers people are giving there.

Feel free to lurk over r/Bitcoin and r/CryptoCurrency too, but always be somewhat skeptical on what you're reading, and do your research first.

that's a good list, but OP, be careful with whatever you read, especially in any specific subreddits. there's a huge issue with bitcoin/bitcoin cash going on right now, aswell as in general there's alot of shilling from pnd groups so be careful! although it's the same here I guess. everyone's an expert  8)

This. And since you're a newbie @OP, also check out r/BitcoinBeginners. You can ask questions there, or you can also learn from the questions and answers from the other newbies there.

There's quite a few subreddits that are worth looking into and it all depends on the type of content and discussions you are looking for. You can also find coin-specific communities however there's too many to list.

For Bitcoin related discussion:

r/Bitcoin
r/BitcoinBeginners
r/BitcoinMarkets
r/BitcoinDiscussion
r/BitcoinMining

For general cryptocurrency discussion and content:

r/CryptoCurrency
r/CryptoTechnology
r/CryptoMarkets

Other:

r/EthTrader
r/GPUmining

Crypto Memes:

r/CryptoCurrencyMemes
r/CryptoHumor

Here's a link to the r/CC wiki which contains a link to useful resources as well as other subs:
