Title: copper member
Post by: Eric@Regestra on August 12, 2018, 10:55:30 PM
I recently read about copper membership and sent BTC to the address provided. Was I scammed? I was told to send 0.00208333 and I sent 0.00209 but I am not a copper member yet. Any ideas?

Was sent to wallet 36fYiFTSAnqPXUfTTKbdCEH4VVBYjTxRtt and is at 4 confirmations...

At the moment you cannot give one because you need to earn merit first. When you earn merit you will receive smerit that you can send to posts you find worthy of receiving one.

Read this thread to understand about merit FAQ: Everything you need to know about forum 'activity, account ranks and merit (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2766177.0), you can give someone merit when you have 1 sendable merit  (sMerit), when you receive 1 merit from other member, you also receive 0.5 sMerit, you can only give out integer merit, for example 1 or 2 or 3... You can't send out 0.5 or 1.5 merit.

I see that you have become a member of copper now, sometimes the transaction takes time to confirm it, the admin in this forum is also human so it's only natural that they have other activities, try to be patient if this happens again

The lowest level requirement for assigning Merit in the bitcointalk forum is Member. As JR, we can only get Merit from others! This is the rule of the forum!

If it was for this account it seems to be resolved now.  :)
