Everything is fine in this forum. We live here, we spend a huge time on this forum by reading topics and replying to other topics. But are you missing some feature here? If yes, then What Feature you think should've added in bitcointalk? Let's share your unique idea and have a good discussion.

I think one of the features that should be added to the forum is the comment voting system. Do not confuse this system with the merit system. For example, if a member's post is good and helpful, other members will be able to vote that member's post. The posts given the reputation score will appear in the top row on the first page of the topic. Just like Reddit. This system will help to distinguish trash posts and quality posts each other. This will make the forum more quality place.

If I were to add any feature, I'd add a way to sort the threads by hits in last 24 hours and replies in last 24 hours.
Another one would be for asking an email confirmation for password change if it's even possible.
Limiting the number of post per IP and number of registration per IP would also be a way to reduce spam.

A one pager or concise form of rules to the user who sign in the forum + profile link of the user +user id + Activity Document that explain how earliest that user can become Jr. Member (Precise to the exact second to users local time.)

I think it will reduce 30% posting in Meta to understand what rules user has broken and help Beginners and help board to be free from all these useless questions.

Ban posters from Indonesia, Nigeria, Philippines, and Venezuela

Not sure why you see that as a feature but not every single user from the mentioned countries, are spammers.

Some of them are really interesting. I've started to get to know a few through the fit to talk project, and I think we should encourage them to make good posts about crypto and bitcoin. Very often their only real problem is their inability to express themselves in English. We are working on this to help them, but it's a shame that we dont get more support. One way to improve this forum is via education.

I was saddened that nobody commented on my ask a legendary project, but I'm doing it anyway for my own benefit.

I think anyone with less than 25 achieved merits should not be able to start threads.

I want two features...

1.Recovery of hacked account /security feature like 2fa,
2.Limits to posting according to the membership in a day,

Maybe:

1. Adding an additional security in the forum like 2FA
2. Deleting/Trashing the post automatically if the thread doesn't have a reply for the past 2-3 months or 6 months to a year. Depends on the time frame.

I would vote for 2fa too, google auth 2FA to be more specific until better one arises.
Also i am into reddit type of voting and collapsing threads but that might be too big of a change and drive away some users.

I don't think it's worth to post our suggestions because creation of new forum software currently in progress and no new features will be added to current version of Bitcointalk.
But ok. 2fa and account recovery was already mentioned above. This is most important thing, but I have different suggestion:
Feature to tag users in posts like we can do on social networks (@LTU_btc for example). When someone tag you then you get notification. Also, if someone quote your post you also will get a notification.

Why to delete posts? Maybe it would be better just to lock old inactive threads? And I think that threads in some boards like Marketplace shouldn't be auto locked.

Ban every user with this name: "Dig Bicks", immediately. It will be awesome for the forum.

Besides, at least one merit to become JR and to be a member to be able to post in the serious discussion.

so we can easily monitor the coin market

and for the shitpost part
i think we can control by character/word count per post
because apart of the spam/ shitpost are only in few words
so can limit every post must more than certain amount of words
or the post under the words count will only can survive for 8 hours, after 8 hours will be delete automatically.
i know cant fully settle the problem
but at least can reduce the problem

I would like to add some suggestions like

 - Sticky replies: If someone remembers Google's answers[1], then I refer to that feature, perhaps the merits would be helpful in knowing high-quality posts but sticking the best answers will help a lot especially in the technical section.

 - Give a training program before ranking up: As YouTube does when you are spamming, you are given a training course to understand the rules and make sure that you will be banned forever if you break it again.

I kinda like the idea too.
I prefer to make it 2, 3, 4 or 5, so that Dig Bicks won't be able to rank up immediately as he already got 1 Merit. Yeah, sounds good to me.

Here are some of my suggestions :)
-Add "=" in the "insert hyperlink" so that we won't need to add it manually.
-Automatically ban users/accounts who posts "Good project, Interesting project, Nice project" posts.
-2 to 5 Merits required to rank up to Jr. Member.
-Limit newbies posts per day to e.g 5 to 10 posts per day.
-Requires captcha in order to make a thread or post in Newbie rank.
-Sorting function in every thread with an option of "show top Merited posts/replies".
-Stays in the thread instead of going back to the main section when done reporting to moderator.
