Title: AntMiner USB Overclocking? Post by: smalloy08 on February 26, 2014, 12:26:38 PM I just started out mining and have 4 of them on 1 usb strip with a good fan directly overtop. Can/should I overclock and to what amount?
I was also wondering what I would put when starting the miner to change the overclocking? This is what I currently put: cgminer -o stratum+tcp://xxxxxxx.com:3355 -u xxxxxxx.xxxxxx -p xxxxxxxx Much thanks :) Sorry for the ground-level question. Title: Re: AntMiner USB Overclocking? Code: -S antminer:all --set-device antminer:clock=x0981 I use BFGMiner but I think it works with CGMiner too. It will get you around 2GHs each. I've been running 9 with a little Arctic Breeze USB fan blowing on them. They're rock solid stable at that speed. Title: Re: AntMiner USB Overclocking? For cgminer (assuming you're running the official one and not a fork), add: --anu-freq 250 Should give you 2GH Title: Re: AntMiner USB Overclocking? Post by: smalloy08 on February 27, 2014, 08:15:03 AM Thanks guys :) I'm running a fork for Antminer but I have it overclocking now without any problems.
