Investing in USDT is a good investment. USDT is a token that runs on Bitcoin's Blockchain platform. The value of 1 USDT is valued at the equivalent of USD 1 in real life. USDT is USD in electricity market. death

Always make your trading decisions by yourself. Random people over internet will not help you much because they may have interest or lack of knowledge when they give you advises.

Want some doubt? Selling to USDT could have been a good idea some time ago. Maybe it is now too. But, what if you sell and everything starts growing again?

Investing in USDT is a good investment.
I don't treat USDT as an investment.
The value of 1 USDT is valued at the equivalent of USD 1 in real life.
It is because USDT is a stable coins.

Should I sell my altcoins , and switch to usdt , and buy when it will be lower ?
I don't want to get involved with your decision making. But if you want to save your altcoins value now, buy USDT and buy if it drops more.

I believe you own your coin and money and you are in the best position to decide what you will do with it but I think you do not need to sell all your altcoin to invest in USDT you can sell some and keep the rest or if you have spare cash, you can but with it instead of selling your altcoin.

Prices of most ALT are already low.
So at the moment it's close to the bottom, and you don't know when you're going to get to the bottom, so I think the best thing to do is hold on.

here everyone must decide for himself whether it is worth selling or keeping to the last. Personally, I do not sell anything and wait for the market to go up

well you are making the biggest mistake that is common these days. you "wait"!

in this market when you see the dumps starting you should immediately dump your altcoins with 0 hesitations. waiting around and thinking what to do is not going to do you any good. dump and get out as fast as possible.

USDT is a good place to go at times like this but be very careful about this coin. it is not 100% trusted. it is still pretty shady and risky to use because of those that are behind it.

I would recommend that you should switch to USDT during a large scale dips like this to save your holdings and you should also buy more of the altcouns that you hold so that you can still cut loss and hopefully take some profits when market starts to recover. Don't keep USDT though, just resort to it during dips to cut losses. Or if you really want to keep USDT for large swings in the market.

It is not good time to sell any coins in this moment, all crypto market is in red and most of coins are at the lowest levels in the past year or even more. But on the other hand you can try to make some profit from this, even you will take some risk with selling now and convert to USDT. In this way you will keep value of your altcoins, but risky part is point when you will buy back those coins.

It is a tricky decision, to hold and watch price drop even more or try your strategy - but this is up to you, unfortunately no one can predict how the situation will develop in the following days or months.

The lower the market drops, the more of a gamble it becomes. If you think we're nearing the bottom, then don't switch to Tether - but if you think we'll continue to fall, then do it.
Do be aware though that even Tether is not 100% safe, there has been plenty of speculation about whether it is really backed up by the USD equivalent.

I advise you to don't rely on people suggestion. No people can predict the market. As you can see we are still in the bear market. I take  this bear market as a tool to learn more. Although i lost some, it doesn't mean i will lost forever. I still learning and you should too.

Going with USDT is going the "safe" way in these times. But I think if you invest either in BTC or any other coins in this crypto space, then you are doing it wrong if you want to be "safe".  What they say is true, this is a risky investment space but only because this promising investment is still undergoing some modifications to iron out the kinks common when any new tech is thrown into the practical space without a proper testing phase or period. However, even with that, I am certain that this tech will be the foundation of many good things to come, therefore my investment stays put.
If you wanted safe investments, then go to the stock market. Thus, maybe even increase your stack in some promising coins, after you do your own research. For example, Eterbase. Go hard, or go home.

If you are negative like 50 percent there's no point to switch tousdt or sell your altcoins. Just wait till market recover like what I did right now . Nothing we can do with red market just wait it to become green .

As far from what I know that the definition of USDT is also a part of cryptocurrency which you can use your wallet and it is not a paper.

So, now I made a research and as far from what I understand it is at its highest but for me the value is still low so why not bet on it but do not use your altcoins because that altcoin if you're might still have a chance to get a higher value, if you think it still has a good price why not but still it is up to you >and for me buy it with your foriegn money.<

Yes,you can that is most of the traders doing when the prices falling. But don't invest on the USDT for long time because it is centralized crypto currency which is just as the fiat money.

Your time makes me feel that you have lost a lot, I hope you have not sold, because the cryptocurrency market has rebounded today. You can switch to USDT to avoid falling in the short term, but not for long-term holdings, only long-term holdings of bitcoin.

According to my analysis ... TUSD has good potential to rise further, but if you have an altcoin that has more and more prominent speculation than Tusd, you better defend your coin, because altcoin is more promising than Tusd.

If you are in alts today it's not so smart to exit from them. Because you may not be in time to enter again. But if you have fiat USDT will play a good role in the crypto purchase. USDT hold is not necessary. I think that USDT is for reorder only. Or for waiting a good prices. Not for hold.

People think that they may miss the very beggining of the next bull run and once again will lose their profit. I think this is something that should be called a pre-FOMO, haha.
And I absolutely agree with you that we shouldn't go against the trend, so don't buy when the market is red. Wait untill the trend changes. But so many people think that "buy low sell high" means buying during a bearish trend. That's a huge mistake.

The USDT is not suitable as a coin to make money as a trade, because its price is almost unchanged, you should use it as a safe-haven coin instead of buying and selling coins!

I think the OP doesn't want to use USDT as a trading coin. He was asking about making the right move during this bearish market. He's having second thoughts about converting to USDT to save his asset and then buy back when it becomes more lower. You have a point nonetheless. USDT is never a money making coin since it's value is constant. USDT is only good to save your money while the market continues to fall down.

I'd say USDT is practically the same as real USD so if you are looking to hedge value, it is always a good option.

However, i'd like to recommend you to hold for now since the entire crypto market seems like it's already bottommed out. Selling now would be bad because the price is now expected to rise. You'd be missing out on good gains if you sell now.

I agreed with what you said because the crypto currency market always go green every first month of the Q4 of every year and I will advice the OP t hold now while he sell at the end of this month cause people will soon sell their coin or use it to stuff online for the holiday.

I do not think that selling now is good idea, but you can try trade short term with lower percent of your portfolio. If you are trading with USDT set stop loss. Never trade with more than 20% of your portfolio. Good luck!

This will depend on your strategies if you are not sure about this better not to do it. Some coins can’t trade to usdt so its important for you to know the basic things about this move and study this again if its really feasible to do so, profit making will be a good basis.

Prices of most ALT are already low.
So at the moment it's close to the bottom, and you don't know when you're going to get to the bottom, so I think the best thing to do is hold on.

Yes, it is not a good suggestion to covert them to USDT because right now the prices are very low in the market and it is not a good advice to convert them into USDT value.

I think the value is the same if you exchange it now, but if you exchange altcoin with USD when the price is rising or pumped, then you will get multiple assets when you buy back the altcoin when it's cheap.

well usdt it's quite stable for a past few bear market months, but i think it's not a wise choice to ride usdt in the next bullrun. even dash was better than usdt

Hello !

Should I sell my altcoins , and switch to usdt , and buy when it will be lower ?
Thanks in advance
In August, it makes no sense to sell their altcoyins and exchange them for USDT, because now the price of our coins and tokens fell by 70 percent or more. At the beginning of the fall of the crypto-currency market, this still made sense, but not now. Now we are waiting for the rise of the crypto-currency market and at the same time raising the price of our crypto currency. Therefore, it is unprofitable to sell crypto currency.

I think that in any case it is necessary to have in usdt portfolio in the amount of 10 percent, given how volatile our market is.

If you are already in alts and you are long-term holder it is a little bit late to sell all alts. IMHO we can see recover at the end of this year and nobody knows when it will happen.

Converting to USDT would have been a good strategy several months ago when the market was going into free fall, but now it is quite pointless unless you are doing short / day trading. If you're a hodler, just invest in the right alts and leave it until the bull run returns, then you will see some great gains

yes when the market gets too bad the safe way to avoid loosing profit is selling tokens into USDT, by  switching to USDT we can have money to buy more tokens at the lowest price and huge profit when the market recovers. So in many ways using USDT in many cases will bring us safer chance than other methods.
