Title: [2014-02-26] Mark Karpeles Fails to Reassure MtGox Investors, Again
Post by: Ripdon007 on February 26, 2014, 07:50:14 PM
"...who in their right mind would make such a debt-ridden acquisition. Even with a re-branding to Gox, for me, and I expect many others, this bitcoin exchange is tainted, permanently. I’d rather spend my bitcoins on a ten foot barge pole to keep the Gox beast at bay." LOL

Where's that quote from? I can't see anything that says about a rebranding, but I agree with their view. But like the article said the announcement is just "another non-attempt to sooth the frayed  nerves of its concerned customers".

You violate of the trust of us users of Mt.Gox was the result of one companys abhorrent actions and does not reflect the resilience of bitcoin and the digital currency industry. There are many hundreds of trustworthy and responsible companies involved in bitcoin.
